Venturing into a new chapter.....

Well I have been busy for such a long time I lost track of time. There was lots of things I wanted to post up. But... oh well its pretty event filled. Sorry I didnt post for so long well I can tell you that after all those trials and tribulation after graduating unofficially, I finally got a job!

Well lets keep things brief. Here is some stuff to keep you all up to date.

I finished my degree in September 09

Been missing from church ever since

Been hunting for job ever since too (I got a job and i rejected it, i was turned down from another job, and finally I got the job I wanted)

Well in the midst of that, I got my First Class Honours! Woohoo! (But it was borderline first class, appreciate the hand of God in that, THANK YOU!)
I felt so ecstatic when I got it. Was jumping up and down. Who wouldn't right? hehe

While been super happy with my first class I did an un-first class right thingy. I spoilt my uncles byke by forgetting to remove the chain in the tyre. Result: the bearings got spoilt. The front brakes had to be replaced, speedometer changed. Cost me bout RM180. Oh wait i owe my uncle! haha LoL. I will pay back! hehe

Moving on I have been so occupied with finding a job it was so tiring. My next revelation was when I got my offer letter. Which was today! 19th November!
From the 30th Nov onwards I will be working at Western Digital in Sg Way.

And I am moving out of my aunt's place in SS2 to Kelana Jaya. Tiara Kelana Condo to be exact =)

Furthermore I hope to get a car and a laptop in the near future. The laptop seems more reasonable as I can get a loan from the company itself =)

Well soon I will be without a computer for a while... And a new chapter is about to begin....

Penang Here I Come

Well it's been a long time coming. I will be moving out of my aunt's place real soon. Like today. I just finish packing and got my tickets. Got 2 to 3 hand luggage. A big box. A back pack. A lot huh. Well that's not the end of it. I still have some clothes in the closet. Few more boxes of stuff, personal and unnecessary stuff. Sorry le. Been here for 4 years already. Collected so many small things. Now surely looks like a lot mer. Hehe

Honestly it's hard to leave lo. Many feel reluctant to stay here. I feel fine staying here. I am fortunate that God allowed me to call these two places HOME! =)

My bus leaves at 4pm. I will miss many of you all in KL and PJ. But I will be back, the least is to collect my stuff. Or maybe I can get a job here.

Speaking about a job, I went for an interview already. It was purely technical. I will talk more about if I get the job. Now I am waiting for a phone call from the US counterpart. I don't know when will that be. But after that I can roughly gauge if I will get the job or not. If I do I need a place to stay here.

So here are the things I need to get when I get my first job in KL/PJ.

1. A place to stay! Looking for a room or a friend who can share their house. Would love to stay around PJ. I would like to stay close to Asia Jaya, Taman Jaya, Taman Bahagia Stations.
2. Get my own computer. A PC or a laptop, anything also can. It sucks to leave this laptop in PJ because I have put so much in it.
3. Pay back the loans that I have took
4. Bring all my siblings for a holiday in KL/PJ.

The optional stuff
1. Get contact lenses. Its quite annoying to have glasses all the time.
2. Get a second hand car or a motorbyke to travel around. This is really optional and depends on my salary. And it won't be so soon either.

These are the major things I need to get eventually. There are more things but for now lets leave it on here. It's not easy to get all these. Probably might take months till years. But we will see how it goes.

On the bright side of things I get to go back! woohoo! It's been such a long time since I went back. bout 2 months already I think. I am glad I am going home but sad to leave PJ.

And last but certainly not the least. I will miss Becky. aiks. Whoever is reading this, please look after her while I am gone. She might be mean and tomboy-ish. But deep down she is every bit a girl can be. Looks can be deceiving huh. She will kill me for posting this but I need the world to know that there is more to Becky than meets the eye =)

Picture post will be up soon. When I have more time in Penang. Pray for the phone interview to come as soon as possible. So that I can sort out my life. I would like a longer holiday but duty calls. I need to be responsible as a son and big brother. Wished I could continue to study but it's not an option. Till next time folks =)

I'm Back.....

Yes I am back. Lots of things has happened. I have no more studies for awhile.

But comes the new headache of getting a job. So sent out resume already. Waiting for a reply.

Lets see. My blog missed my exams in September. My final year project on Image Processing. Exams didn't go too well. Project also not as well as expected. Again I am a nearly man. Results were out. Nearly did well. But that's the thing.. "Nearly". Official results aren't out, but ain't getting my hopes up. Let me get a job before it's out. That would be good.

The MYF of Trinity has a new committee for next year. Ms Yong is president again.. hehe... I like new faces. Adds dynamics to the team. ;-)

There are so much things I want to do now. But I can't, I am broke, soon to be homeless in KL/PJ, Jobless of course and want to have some fun before I start working. Looks like nothing much is going to happen to change it.

I thought when studies are over the stress would be a bit less... Boy oh boy was I wrong. The pressure to get my job as soon as possible is looming around. I seriously would love a break. But I don't think that's in the cards.

So now I am "Free", to a certain extend. Would like to catch up with friends here in KL/PJ and later when I do get my job, Friends in Penang. Before I start work.

Well I will have more updates pretty soon. Got lots of things to share and blog about over the pass few months.

And TV series are back on air in the US! woohoo! having fun watching them now! Let's hope this last! haha..

Well yes the end is near.. exams are coming... Thesis deadline is just around the corner. Studying is not yet done. Less than 2 months I no longer need to study for my degree.

I got a 60 page thesis to write which has gone to a roughly soon to be 80 pages.

Got a couple of assignments still not done. Deadline end of the month.

Studying also I have not done yet. But at least already found some past year papers to study.

Fees for course must be paid for me to take the exam. No thanks to PTPTN, I am screwed on this part. Haih...

So much to worry so lil space in my head. I should not be blogging too! There won't be much updates until I finish so.. guys wish me all the best. Pray for me! I really need it!

And for those who are close... help me make my day ! hehe... the end is near!

Transformers! Revenge of the Fallen

One of the best Movies that I have watched in a while! Exceeded my expectations. And I don't mind watching it a few more times. Have officially watched it 2 and a half times. Hehe

Also glad Tropicana City has its own cinema! So cool. So near. Can walk to a cinema to watch. Hehe.. never had one in such close proximity. hehe

Guys and Girls go watch this shows. It has everything you would want in a movie.
Comedy, Drama, Actions, Suspense, Romance (this time both the characters have been developed) and lots more.

The computer graphics are AMAZING. After the 1st show I was asking for more. After this show, I am some what satisfied. Although I still went and look for more stuff and details.

Just to make it more interesting. There is are a few graphic novels/comics out there. They are prequels to the 2nd movie.

Transformers: Defiance

Alliance will fill in the story of the Autobots immediately after the 1st show. It tells of how they work together. Don't worry they are spoilers to the movie if you never watch them. They are teasers.. hehe ;-) And Alliance will end at the start of the 2nd movie! How cool is that! It doenst matter which one you read/watch 1st. because you will still be suprised ;-)

Defiance talks about the story back when both the autobots and decepticons were united. And then something influenced Megatron and now we have ourselves an epic war.

The pictures in the comics are specatcular. Its worth the investment. Totally! ;-)

All in all I love this whole franchise. Glad the movie was so good!

Kudos to Trinity PJ MYF

I felt a burden in me to not forget those who have worked hard during this entire time in planning for the MYF Sunday.

So, here is a list of people whom have contributed at the front stage and behind the scenes of TMC PJ's MYF Sunday.

From the top, Jason and the worship team (Hash, Denise, Sarah, Ee Rick, Mike Sam, Gabriel, Bel & also Weng Yee) and never forgetting the sound man and guys who have came and helped out with the arrangement (Ian & Noel on Sound, Han How, Chris, Roslind for the music and arrangement aspect) for the countless practices they put in every Sunday at 230pm. They have started practices since the end of April. Songs have changed so many times. And stress about who to start? How to start? And the list goes on have come to an end. I believe its a worthwhile ending. ;-)

Grace, for being so "in our face" all the time. Shes pushes everyone to our potential. How can I go on without thanking her. Hehe.... For the times I had no transport. Even for the sketch. Sending Zhi-Wei from church to Subang. Gosh... She was a great help. I thank God for this magnificent lady ;-) (hehe didn't call you aunty.. happy not? hehe)

Mei-Xin, she was in charge of the notice board and cut outs at the MYF booth. All those printings up there were compiled by her. She did it alone at first the day before and later got help from her family ;-) the Yongs and Khongs.. =)

Weng Yee, for the "MYF happenings video" during the offering. We were pushed down to the wire. I understand your complication it's okay. But next time give me a heads up. hehe ;-)

Uncle Choong Meng, our other counsellors for being supportive during the rehearsal. Giving feedback and also the one at the booth talking to those who come and visit it for a brief intro to MYF.

Aunty Roslind, wow what a great help was she, from the T-shirt printing to the name card contacts. And the never ending feedback constantly. Giving us a view point of the adults in the congregation. I really thank her for all that hard work. Putting up with the printers for both the
T-shirt and Name cards were not easy! hehe... I really truly appreciate the effort!

Others that helped out during the rehearsal were Uncle Yong and Aunty Maureen for giving me feedback to the sketch and also uncle Yong for helping with the Microphones during practise.

also Regina, thanks for the design. It was beautiful. And she did it in such a short time. Alterations that was needed was done overnight, literally. And the constant exchange of calls and sms-es because there were problems with the printers. Gosh. Thanks for putting up with us.

Oh yes and also the pastors of TMC, Ps Ricky for being so understanding. Changing his initial sermon to incorporate our theme and sketch and etc. A very good job. The message sunk in for many from the looks of it. Ps Buell for somehow always believing in me. Although he didn't physically helped me. But his words of encouragement. His "small talk" with me that did wonders to my confidence and faith.

The ushering team! Yuen Xin, Dion, Ryan, Shaun, Mei-Yan, Lauren, & Kimmie the guys who greeted and gave out the MYF name cards before and after the service. The guys that round the sanctuary with the offering bags. Had to wait so long for Hash and Becky to talk some more! hehe..

And last but not least, the sketch team! Which I had the opportunity to work so close with.
Nicholas for initially writing the script for it. Took some time to get going but later on it took off. The inventor which inspired me to innovate the invention. ;-)
the cast Chen Yi, Michelle, Letisha, Isabel, Edwin, Joel, and Zhi-Wei. You guys did a fantastic job. With the limited practices we all had. You guys pulled it off. I knew you had it in you! God helped me put the fingers on you guys. And I am truly glad he did so. Kudos!

And last but definitely not the least Becky. For being in charge of the food. Then the rehearsal. For attending all the meetings as missy President. For running up and down during the service. Making sure things work out properly. And for representing the MYF so well up on stage. With confidence and conviction. You make us proud. You make me proud!

And last credits.. hehe I am not finished yet, to God! who have been so great throughout this process. For giving me the ideas and guiding me in running this MYF Sunday. It's a pleasure to be Your servant. I have seen the impact on so many of the MYF-ers. I know there is more to come! Keep our fire burning!

Before I end this honour list. I want to leave you all with the video that was played at the end of the sketch. During the compilation of this video. It never seems to be a dull moment. I felt the shivers as I was doing it all the way. It touched me every single time. I hope it can impact you all as much as it has impacted me.

By the way, Jared Tan from Wesley Penang was the one who sang this song initially. He learned it during his trip in Singapore. And he used it during one of the worship session during Joshua House (Youth Group at Wesley PG) It has stucked in me since then ;-)

MYF Sunday

It's been filled with headaches.... pains.... and everything you could think of.

But I am glad I got this opportunity... ;-) ...

my hope for my youth is to embrace others easily.
show people that we aren't mere youth who don't know how to do things
we can cut it out just like anybody if we set our hearts to it.

The verse that really encourages me
1Tim 4:12 says "Let no one despise your YOUTH, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
This verse has been widely used this year. My Youth Camp this year used this too. It's also the theme verse for Grace Sentul. I bet there is many more. I would assume God wants to talk to the youths out there. In fact I think he wants to talk to ALL the youths!

Growth is an essential to everyone. Whether you are christian or not. You need to grow. That is the dynamics of life. I always believed if one does not grow in anyway he might was as well be dead. So on that note. It's an honour working with all you guys at TMC PJ! from the worship team to the actors ;-) to gracie grace and till pastor too! haha...

It's these that I live for! ;-) Thanks!

It has beenm so long since I post anything here.. been so busy with studies and church ...didnt really have the time to post also...

Well recently turned 21... feel so old le.... oh well..
I wanted to thank all those who came for my surprise party.

And most of all ... my BECKY! Thanks a lot for throwing it. I seriously didn't suspect a thing.. gosh I feel so.. hahaha... oh well...

will post more things... been wanting to make TV show reviews... as summer has just started... and many shows have reached their season finale... ;-)

What's Next?

Its been a while since I posted something here. Well its because I really am busy and barely have got time to sit down and think what I would like to post about. So this is a short break... (few hours only) from all the work around me.

Well Youth Camp is finally over! YaY! I don't mean it in a "good riddance" way, but a Wow! What a camp in more ways than one.

This camp was one of the most odd camps of all. So through my eyes,
this is.....
The 1st camp that starts on a Saturday and ends on a Tuesday
The 1st camp that was headed by a Non-President (Bel!.. Good job considering everything)
The camp which cause the biggest commotion
The camp which was on the brink of having very little people compared to previous ones
The camp that I was TESTED & EXPERIMENTED by God on so many ways possible (before, during and maybe after also)
The camp that freaked me out with all the devotion materials that just hit the nail on the head (Its really THAT personal I tell you)
The camp that God played a gigantic role in my life.

This camp is one heck of a scary one in every sense. To me I thought I made a difference. I was honestly looking forward to the Devotion sessions. It was the way I loved best to get personal with people. But then again, did I really made a difference? Well, time will tell.

I was laughing with becky about all these topics. I mean Goodness Gracious! hahaha... What are the odds! Honestly they are what I have been struggling with currently.

I believe God has brought out the best and worst in us through this camp. I think it applies to everybody but its up to all of us to realize it or not.

It's been awhile...

Well definately it has been a while since I got time to write something up. Well here is the thing whenever I have unfinished work, I never can seem to find the peace to blog. I have a lot of things to say but can never take the time to sit down and write it out.

So let me just update most of you on what has been going on, this year is a busy year. Been busy with my final year project and church lately. Then lately I am going to have a new element added. My extra cocurriculars in uni. Hope I can cope with all of this.

Okay on a lighter note, I celebrated my first valentines since my 20 over years of existence. It didn't really happen on the day. Because I don't like all that hype. It's unreasonable to get flowers at 3 or 4 times the price. Let me get you 3 or 4 times the roses, wouldn't that be better? It is over rated and I would like to not conform to it. But I would do something meaningful and special on my own, but its still hard to break the cliche. You want to know why? because almost every guy in the world is trying to stand out, there are so many things you would have heard of, but the key is to actually keep it personal. Besides when its personal you save money. I say, why not? hehe...

Also I have a new precious thing to my collection. I got a new phone its the Nokia 5610 Express Music! It might not have the best features like my 6120 but it sure is sexy looking. hehe It's also my first slide phone. Now I have the tendency to keep pushing it up. Just to check for the date or the time or messages and etc. It feels cool. Oh well let me syok sendiri le. hehe. Totally didn't expect to get it but I am glad I got it.

There is still a tonne of things that happened but there is just to many that I can't type them out now. Till next time. (I hope it won't be too long before I post again, hehe)

Langkawi - Be tempted .. hehe

Langkawi is the kinda the island of sin. Liquor is cheap, cigarettes too, even chocolates are known to be a form of sin, (in different context.. hehe)

I left for Langkawi as impromptu as it can be. The moment I realize my classes haven't really started I opt to go already! hehe.. gosh.. You know why?

reason no.1: It's my only holiday in a long time. Last camp I went to was TMC PJ Family camp way back in 2008. It was as relaxed as it can be already as I was one of the leaders. hehe...
no.2: I jakun wei! never been to Langkawi before! haha.. the other island of escape I been to was Tioman, that was way back in primary school days. So Tioman (South) and Langkawi (North) is as far as I been ever from my place of birth! PS: I still dont have a passport. hehe..
no.3: "She" went. Ok I dont need to elaborate more but it was good motivation to go.

Real happy about the trip because I got loads of chocolates for my siblings! yahoo! so nice! because they were so cheap. And I never seen beer and liqour so cheap before. Well I might look like I am cool about it but, haha.. deep down it was a jakun moment through and through. hehe Besides who can't resist? hehe.. bottle of beer for 2.50? LoL

Back to Reality

Well a lot has been going on lately. But most distinct one, it's back to school! hehe.. gosh

Will post my Langkawi Trip photos up pretty soon. Had a blast at doing nothing but now, have to restart everything all over again.

Don't really like it but it is the better of 2 evils. hehe Still very undecisive as to what to major in. But by today or this week. I should have got it all planned out already. hehe... Scary to think of it but. Oh well. hehehe...

Now how will I find time to blog actually? hehe, I don't really know. hehe oh well. Let's just see. My new term starts today. "Seriously" hehe

Back to KL/PJ!

Yes I am officially back in SS2! Classes might start this week they might not. So I decided to take one last holiday before a long time to just relax and do nothing. hehe... So I will be away from Monday till Friday. Going Langkawi baby! hehe

Let me share some highlights since I came back. Well went for Bersatunite at KL Wesley. It was kinda cool. Met lots of old friends. Sang many of my favourite worship songs and a contemporary which makes sense as a worship song too. hehe Guess what was it, "What About Now" by Daughtry. Also did I mention it was Juwita Suwito who sang it. And she sang worship songs, please name me one mainstream artist that goes back to their roots? because until yesterday I didnt see anyone exist. hehe. I knew every song except that malay song at the end which is nice. Also I wanted to buy her album and get her signature and see if she can remember me from a 2 yrs back. But haih. I had to go back. As it was too late already. hehe.. oh well.

Before that I was at a product launch from "Skyfruit" the health supplement my dad sells. Well we were really frustrated with the timing of the event. It started more than an hour late. And we went early for nothing. Haih. Oh when I say we I meant my dad and bro. It was only my brother's 2nd time in kl. He was so amazed at my aunt's house. hehe. Good that I can show him the place ;-) And couple funny things happeneed. Well Malaysian love free stuff don't we. There were chocolates all over the room. And everyone was eating non-stop. Some even try to sneak some home. hehe And we complain a lot too. So dad complained bout having no food while we waiting doing nothing. The big boss gave her lunch to him. haha. Then he malu ask bro and me to eat. hehe..funny betul. Furthermore the organizer made people sit and do nothing for such a long time. And the event was done while people stand. Aikz. Enough of that because I rather not bore you with those details. hehe

Also today was the 2nd week of the combined service in church. Things were a bit messy but very manageable. Kinda cool that we have already got it started. Now the hard work comes in. To sustain it. Hope everyone will be praying for the entire thing.

Well on the last note, it is good to be back. I miss Penang a lot too. But like i once shared. My life is quite bitter sweet. I love it both here and there. I wish people could multiply like amebas. But sadly it's not biologically possible, YET! hehe...

hudud laws: what say you?

KUALA TERENGGANU: PKR will not reject outright PAS’ plan to implement hudud law, said its de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He also dismissed Karpal Singh’s remark that such legislation was unconstitutional, saying that the DAP chairman was making a general statement.

He said there was no need to reject the proposal as it was only applicable to Muslims.

What was needed, said Anwar, was an in depth discussion among Pakatan Rakyat partners on contentious issues which had resurfaced following a debate between PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa and Umno Youth deputy head Khairy Jamaluddin.

“Hudud is not something new. There is allocation for it in Islam. This is what PAS has been saying all along, that it is solely for the Muslims,” he told reporters after launching the PKR main operation room for the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary by-election yesterday.

According to Anwar, all opposition parties understood Islam and that its legislative aspects should not just be confined to Syariah family or civil law.

Describing himself as a practising Muslim, Anwar stressed there was no blanket answer on hudud and that he would not emulate what former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad did, which was to oppose and reject outright hudud law when PAS first proposed it without fully understanding the issue.

He said detailed discussions on the issue could clear the air.

He also urged all dissenting voices to study the specific proposal and its provisions closely before opening their mouths.

Anwar also hit out at the media for attacking PAS over the hudud proposal and conveniently forgetting that it was the government that had declared Malaysia an Islamic nation.

“I do not understand why the media is harping on it. It is a non-issue in this by-election. The bigger issues are the policies of Barisan in contrast to what Pakatan is trying to do. That should be the focus,” he said.

He also said the alliance between the opposition parties was developing into a compact front despite the media’s reports on rifts in their pact over certain governance and political policies.

“We are not Barisan Nasional where supposedly Umno dictates and others just follow. We practice democracy,” said Anwar.

This article worries me a little. Well I am a fan of change but to a certain extend le. Accepting "hudud" laws is one thing. But the way Anwar sit on the fence in his statements makes me wonder what are his motives. But I can semi understand that he needs to respect PAS too in their objective as it is their identity of formation. Here are a few things I get from his remarks.

1. He don't want to emulate Mahathir in totally neglecting these laws
2. He wants to protect PAS and DAP and stay as neutral as he can
3. He just open a can of worms in this line, "He said detailed discussions on the issue could clear the air"
4. That he actually ain't that sure what to say as his reasons are a bit weak

Well I will expect more of this in the future as PAS and DAP are like opposites. Also I wonder how many PKR members actually agree with this. Many join them to have a fair playing ground in the country for all races. And this remarks will get the PKR members thinking, "Do I really want hudud laws?"

No disrespect to others but I don't really welcome it. Yes it is only for Muslims but they are kind of extreme with some of the rules. I won't spare christianity on this one even if I am one myself. Penang Tours 1.0

A milestone, 100th POST!

Well it's been a long time coming but this is officially my 100th Post!

With this I want to launch my own logo. It's something I been wanting a long time.. hehe but just didn't have the time to do it. Always pictured how it would look like in my head but never got to doing it. Well now it's out. And I am pretty proud of it.

Let me tell you all how I came up with this one. Well today is quite a day to remember.

Sister (No.2) is going college for the first time! hehe... Wow!

Sister (No.5) is going to be in Form 1! New school le.. hehe

Sister (no.6), cute adorable girl is going to Kindy for the first time! I wonder what's going to happen. She is either going to be the ring leader or will be really scared. hehe Can't wait to hear what's going to happen.

Also as you know school starts all over the country. Including college. Even my final year has officially start today but I will be missing a week of classes if there is any. hehe..

And the traffic jam is back... aikz no more last minute drives to work but looking on the bright side I need to do it for another 4 days only?

It's my last Monday at Intel. At least I hope. hehe.

Going to us my medical card from Intel for the first time. hehe, (fear of an infection on my left calf)

This blog is going through some changes. Because it's blogger is confused. It's blogger can no longer do the things he use to do. Identity is a big thing. Knowing yourself is a big thing. When you don't, you risk falling into pit holes that have no return. But here is the art of being glenn, he knew himself but yet he still fell into that pit of uncertainty.

Same like in the Dark Knight. Harvey Dent was so sure that what he was doing can bare fruit. Putting criminals in prison can make the world a better place. But little did he know that even the cops that he was fighting for turned their back on him. The Joker's goal to turn the best of us into monsters worked. No matter what, there is always a chance, we can turn into anything and everything of the world. Why as christians try so hard to be different but when we judge others we become just like them.

Also positivity is the art of lying to one self. The more you are positive it means the more you keep telling yourself fairy tales. And that is where you hopes come from. Negativity on the other hand comes from partial blindness. You see only what you want see. You hurt yourself in ways you want. That is also an art by it self. By being positive you take your dreams and try to invision it. It's still fiction for it didnt happen, but from that you create hope. In being negative. You take facts, but you manipulate them. You turn all the guns at yourself. You feel it's better that way because you love the idea of giving up on things but you arent actually ready.

How does one find constants in ones life when everything is changing every second of the day. Even the earth spins without stopping. It's position changes every second. Time? Well time is merciless. It keeps on going on and on. It won't stop even for our most feared event in life, death. It just keeps ticking on. The authour of this blog use be sure of what he wanted. Now, times have change.

January Transfer Window

So it's the new year, one significant thing is that the transfer window has opened. And my oh my the rumours going around at each club seems to turn fairy tales to a true story. The amount of rumours going about this and that player is ridicilous.

Usually at this time of the year transfers that happen always have been unexpected ones. This year they say there is a credit crunch, well I don't think that will have any drastic effects, this is because of the "new found fame" of Manchester City. Prices are going to be inflated because everyone wants Man City to buy their fringe players or either they don't want to lose their star players. No difference there, everyone will be asking for more money because the kiasu wave will hit the world of football. hehe

Well here is my take on transfers that WILL HAPPEN:

Roque Santa Cruz (to Man City) because the clause in his contract is too easy for Man City le. 18mil pounds is a stroll in a park for them.

Emile Heskey (out of Wigan) to where I don't know, rumours say its Aston Villa and Liverpool. I pray its not Liverpool le. He is pretty much useless and 4 mil pounds for an old man? er... I will pass

Andrei Arshavin (out of Zenit) this time round seems like the perfect fit, this is because of the credit crunch and if Zenit still want to be "kiasu", they will never sell him at all. And his fame from Euro 08 is dying off. So the smarter thing is to let him go. Also I think Arsenal seems like the perfect fit for him. I am very much expecting the prospect of him leaving to Arsenal.

Kevin Doyle (out of Reading) this is a move I see very possible, beacause he is going great guns in the League 1, and he will be on the cheap. So mid table clubs will be fighting for his signature. Expect a tussle for him. Rumoured clubs are Middlesbrough, Aston Villa. Expect more to come.

Well above were safe predictions because like I said nothing much will happen. Here is moves I RECOMMEND

Aaron Lennon (to Liverpool) Wow this will really be a great sight to see. David Bentley is chosen over him more times than not. If he is at Liverpool Rafa as stubborn as he is can't resist not fielding him.

Giampaolo Pazzini (to Everton) That would be something interesting. He just could be the new Andy Johnson. And he might be cheaper too. He has been Firorentina's top scorer for a while. But has been under shadows due to arrival or Alberto Gilardino.

Mikael Arteta (to Arsenal) Another fantastic prospect. If that happens it would be cool. He is less running but more precision. So it's fits what Arsenal is looking for.

There is many more but then seems so farfetched. This actually has a prospect of happening. oh well.

I hope for suprises in the whole month of January. Bring it on! And Liverpool to win the title will be sight in itself! come on 2009! hehe

So after my most emo post in my blog I want to move away from that. I just couldn't contain it.

Now you can get to this blog by typing www.glenntan.co.cc you all should try it. its free domain name. Getting free hosting I don't know how yet but it is kinda nicer than .blogspot.com (longer) but the conventional way still works =)

Besides that I have just found out that I have to start college real soon. Like on the 6th soon! ahhh! Making a call pretty soon to see how late I can go, or when the classes actually start. This is a problem because my internship only finishes on the 16th of Jan. So yea... kinda big headache. Added to the fact that my manager is not around. So I can't really ask for any change of dates.

Also, I am leaving Intel =( haih..so sad le.. I know at times it can be boring here but then its been quite fun. Learnt some stuff at the first two months and then getting paid for just coming to office the following months. Its been a great experience, wish it could have been better but oh well.

Definitely going to miss my family too, no matter what. I really find moving back and forth not only physically exhausting but emotionally too. Why can't Penang be like only 2 hours the most away from KL? haih...

Still also I got loads of photos to upload. Will do so when I am free. Sorry for all the words lately. There has been a lot going on since the past few weekends. Tonnes of stuff to show you all. Many discoveries and loads of jakun moments. hehe...

Another cool part going on now is Nuffnang and Google Adsense. They are paying me a lot. But still not enough but it will be enough to pay for a domain name. I am planning to get a domain name pretty soon. When I reach KL and get info for hans. Sadly glenntan.com is not available curse you Singaporean glenn tan impersonator!?!?!?! put nothing on it some more. Ish!

Many things has happened and many more to come. Life is like this. Why you go on? Well that's something I need to figure out because my old dream has died. I really need to set out new goals and dreams. Gosh that's not easy. But I know something I have to work real hard in my final year. Its going to be one of the ultimate turning point in my life. Funny how a piece of paper will shape your life. Well mine is about to be handed to me in 2009. So I want it to sparkle. At least I will die trying.

Well many of you all will be posting bout how nice of christmas you have. Mine seems so far off that kind of joy.

Ever felt being pounced emotionally by all sides? left right center you name it I got it.

Ever walk in your very home but yet still feel like a stranger? I have I still thinking why am I calling it home anyway.

Ever gave your all but then no one notice what you gave? Infact even question your own judgement..

Ever gained respect from your actions but then that was the very fact that made everyone lose it? It hurts..

Ever wanted to just leave it be, but something keep drawing you back? Even though if it hurts every time you go to that place....

Ever feel unappreciated by the mountains you move? Well for me mountains is never enough...

Ever have the best intention in everything but then end up people scrutinize you for that very intention? That happens on a daily basis for me...

Ever felt unwanted but yet every one depended on you? Sounds kinda pathetic right

Ever felt like Obama in one crowd but Osama in another?

Ever ask yourself, why go on when all you feel is pain? It's called stupidity too

These things all just sums up what has been going this year for me. My darkest times are in this one year. There was the occasional light but then, the cloud of darkness fills me to the brim. Till I suffocate and question my own capabilities. For this post to be publish is kinda weird. I never been like this. But then like its said, there is a first for everything.

Hope 2009 has mercy on me. Because I don't know how much more I can take. It's going to be another eventful one, I doubt I can beat this year but hey you never know.

PS: No one will ever understand this post, I never tell anyone the whole thing before also.

Good Hope Inn - Cheap Penang Accommodation

Yes everyone is in a christmas mood still. So am I my girl is coming to Penang today!

But I got something to share about with you all. Especially for people in KL and elsewhere who might worry about having a place to stay, well I found the online link to that place already.

This was actually a tip off by a friend (Sin Yee), she use to say how cheap it is and there is always a room here because no one knows it exist. I certainly didn't until she educated me =)

So every since I have been looking for the place. Where can I find it and all. I just did and it would be a crime to keep ones knowledge only to ones self. So being the "good Samaritan" I am. Here it is

GoodHope Inn Penang, It is located in the Gurney Drive area, but it's not facing the sea. It's on Jalan Kelawei. If you are coming from town, its on your right just after Gurney Hotel. And just before Ikasina Rent A Car.

With rooms these cheap are you to complain any more? This is especially suitable for all who visit Penang. Because its a known fact that when you come to Penang you will out and about the whole day hunting for food. And when you are free, you hunt some more, and more and (you get the idea le)

Therefore the only time you go back to your hotel is at night when you have no choice but to sleep. So this inexpensive option won't hurt your pockets one your adventure here.

So, yes this is certainly a definate place to stay when you are looking for things cheap and good, just like every other Malaysian, yes me included =)

Haha just as the title suggest I think I should open a tour company. Last week was becky and her mum this week a senior couple. Next week the Tays, Chens, Tans & Khongs? hehe.. Really should just at the the G-uNit Corporation services. haha should I get that name listed? hehe.. I wonder. *wide smile* =)

My transportation is a Kenari. No bus le. Now economy in bad times so must save petrol. Besides it's all because I give personal tour... get it? hehe.. LoL ...

Well yesterday on a beautiful Saturday I took a couple around town and batu ferringhi. Shall blog details with pictures later.

Here are some stuff I learn along the way. I didnt know the couple (seniors) are more fascinated at butterflies than fruit trees. I assume wrongly. hehe...

Also my Kenari ROCKS! I think for all that driving I only spent a bit over the half of the RM30 of petrol that I pumped in. Gosh... I love my car. No big cars for me till I am a millionaire.. hehe...

New discovery, Beef Koay Teow at the famous place along chulia street is frigging expensive. haha.. first time I been there since they all say nice and all. It cost RM7 wei! the bowl is small le.. gosh so sad. I want to do that kind of business also already le.. Gosh gosh.. hehe

One more thing I really envied the prices of food and drinks being siold at the airport and also the hotel. A can of coke cost RM2.50 at the airport you know??!?!?!?! They are being marked up for more than 50% crazy! Mini Markets mark up 35% also people can complain. But at airports and hotels no says a word? haha... I guess you are paying for the convenience. But still, don't be so forgetful le.. then you can spare the extra spending for something else than an over priced coke or chocolate bar. hehe..

Today is a new day, more traveling around Penang. Kek Lok Si, Penang Hill, Sleeping Buddha, Snake Temple and the list goes on. maybe some shopping in between also =)

Petrol Prices Slashed Again..Yay! not?

PETALING JAYA: Petrol and diesel prices have been slashed by another 10 sen effective today.

The price of RON97 petrol is now RM1.80, while RON92 is selling at RM1.70 a litre.

The pump price of diesel is now RM1.70 a litre.

In a statement, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the reduction was in line with the drop in global crude oil prices.

The retail prices of petrol and diesel have been gradually lowered from their highs of RM2.70 and RM2.58 respectively in June.

Pan Malaysian Bus Operators Association president Datuk Ashfar Ali said the drop would hardly impact his operational costs.

“The damage is already done. The price of daily necessities and foodstuff have gone up and nobody will reduce their prices.

“Spare parts are still expensive – their prices have not gone down either. And the bulk of the diesel used for our operations is under the fleet card system, where it costs RM1.43 a litre.”

Ashfar suggested that the subsidised diesel enjoyed by bus operators could be reduced by a further 13 sen to RM1.30.

“With the lower global crude oil price, I feel the Government can afford it.”

Pan Malaysian Lorry Owners Association president Er Sui See said with cheaper diesel, lorry operators could consider maintaining transport prices.

“At RM1.70, I think we can sustain the price. Diesel accounts for 35% of our operational costs, and only about half of the operators benefit from the fleet card system.”

So petrol prices have gone down again. We should be jumping up for joy. We should be running round in circles celebrating. But no?

Honestly what is the problem with people. Every make a fuss of it when the prices go up. Now when it's down no one bother to acknowledge it? Gosh Malaysian ar?!?!?! (yes, me included)

I know the economy is bad, but hey, not our country (yet) but everyone seems to talk like we have been hit badly.. People in the US are nearing bankrupt but we over here are whinning about not having enough. Grow up people.

Petrol prices have been a major factor of prices. But now it doesn't reflect anything else. We use to whine that petrol is high we can't buy this and that, now when it's low we also whine? huh? don't make sense right? I admit the government increasing the petrol to RM2.70 a liter was not a smart thing at all. Because traders have used that as an excuse to increase their prices. They have been waiting all this while for something to give them reason to increase and they found it in the government.

So with many traders having that mentality, you think prices of goods will go down? haha... we are now experiencing that answer, NO! Because increasing ones price during that period where petrol is expensive was just a cover/reason to make more money. When that problem is settled then only will prices come back down. It's like your salary going up, many of us Malaysians don't care if we need it or not we just want it up. Any reason will do, just increase my salary. Same goes with the need to complain about almost anything. Times are bad we complain. Times are good we also complain.

Petrol price high, complain. Petrol price low, also complain. Conclusion We are Malaysian? Surely that should never be the answer. But sadly many practise this. At this rate I can only imagine how bad things will be when I finally plan to settle down. My kids will suffer from the greed of the current generation. Let's hope that doesn't happen

Disted Open Day - I See Me... LoL

So last Saturday I took my sister to Disted Penang (She is going College already! gosh!) to go for a talk about Pre university because she is planning to start her A-Levels next year. Little did she know she might just have to start real soon, like January soon. Haha..oh well

So, about the talk, barely anyone turned up and therefore we decided to go back after that.

But before all this, in the midst of inquiring about her course and when she starts and all. One of the photographers at the Open Day decided to choose the table we were at and asked us to pose. Haha I was thinking yea this is one of the many shots he is taking. LoL was I wrong. Also I didn't expect the photo to come out so soon. But again, LoL was I wrong. hehe

So today before I came to my office, I dropped my sister off at school. So I used the Jelutong Expressway (for those in KL it's one of the highways here le)

And look what I witness before my very eyes, the world turned upside down! ...oh wait... it's just people who don't know the rules of the road.

Well according to the rules
1. Always keep left [Unchecked]
2. Use right lane for over take (hahahaha) [Unchecked]

See! People must cut on the left and the slow moving cars are all on the left..... this really frustrates me! gosh! I curse more driving than anywhere when I meet drivers like that EVERYDAY! *tsk tsk* Because of this, I tend to talk to myself a lot while driving. So if you every drive pass me and see me talking to air, haha you know ;-)

New Toys

Well since I came back to Penang. I have been getting myself some new stuff. Some contributed by my darling =)

A Sling Bag, well becky didn't like my old one so she got me a new one.. Thanks darling. But no promises in throwing away the old one. .. hehe..

This is not as recent but yea it is my new toy too. A Logitech QuickCam E3500 Plus! Real cheap and works really well. Bought it because I wanted to see Becky and also the old one at home is too lousy and the software is missing. This lil cam cost me RM88. Recently I saw people selling it for RM99! at PC Fair! means its value went up. hehe.. Made the right choice! (phewww)

Also got myself a Polo Shirt, which my dear loves.... hehe.. Also bought myself a Chelsea Jersey. Yes I know Liverpool supporter and all but what the heck it looks nice. And it was cheap. Just adds variety le.. hehe..

Ah my next one was a great find! hehe Still beaming with joy. I landed this Nike Football hahahaha...So frigging cheap! still laughing And it looks real good. Here is the funny part, the offer was in Penang Airport! haha.. of all places! hehe
Now here is another new addition to my Pendrive arsenal. I got my brother, becky and me new 8GB Kingston Pendrives! I gave my sisters the old 2GB pendrive which is a lot already. And bought new ones for us! hehe..cool right!

Oh and this is my new baby! Spoilt was my old 80GB hardisk, now it has transformed into a 320GB Seagate Momentus with Zynet Casing! AHHHHHHH ...... hehehe.. buying the hardisk was nothing, but the case took me a long time. About 2 hours plus to decide if I wanted to get it. Becky kinda presuaded me to get it and she paid for it some more! thanks darling!
See how sleek is it? hahaha...ahhhhhh... lol...

And last but certainly not least, my new Liverpool Jersey!!!!! got it for a bargain.
HAHA christmas isn't here yet also. And I treated myself to so many new toys. Crazy I tell you. I guess because I am working I can afford it. I have bought many other things for my siblings too. But all this here is mine. woohoo! I am still beaming with joy! hahaha

Another great weekend

So the long weekend has come and gone away. I wished it will continue till no end. hehe

My darling came "up" to Penang with her mother. Had such a great time with her!

One of the biggest thing was that she is becoming more and more tolerating of me! hehe...

Also the fact that she got to meet almost everyone at my house.

Meet all my siblings and she got along with my baby sis! hehe... (she even got my sis to go against me)

She also played badminton at my backyard. (PS: not court but there was enough space)

Usually I go to malls and everything alone, but this time I had company. My girl all the way from USJ! hehe... love it

And by the way, my stolen motorbyke is back home! it was found not too far from the place it was stolen. YaY! *jumps for joy*

Not only that, I manage to eat some food that I didn't have the time to eat because I was working most of the times and its not nice to go eat alone most of the time.

Few things I missed out when taking her out was the beach, youth park, botanical gardens, penang hill if possible, canoeing! hehe.. and others (if I can remember ;-) )

Sadly there were'nt much pictures taken. I was too distracted le.. hehe... Will post the ones I have up.

Also I got to show her mother around too. but sadly, penang hill was closed and the bukit jambul reptile park was shut down. (How would I know? *tsk tsk*)

And can you believe it, I bought Twin Seats for the first time in Penang. Haha! Watched Transporter 3. (not bad show)

Walked around the very messy new gurney. Gosh...so big is ok but too many circles in a shopping mall le.... *tsk tsk*

I can't contain my feelings for the pass 2 weeks because its been so much fun and fulfilling. hehe...

I miss you girl! can't wait to see you again. till next time.

The way Moral Should be Taught!

Teach moral like this and you will have no more worries. Or at least that's the theory. haha

LESSON 1 A junior manager, a senior manager and their boss are on their way to a meeting. On their way through a park, they come across a wonder lamp.They rub the lamp and a ghost appears. The ghost says, "Normally, one is granted three wishes but as you are three,I will allow one wish each" So the eager senior manager shouted, "I want the first wish. I want to be in the Bahamas , on a fast boat and have no worries." Pfufffff, and he was gone. Now the junior manager could not keep quiet and shouted "I want to be In Florida with beautiful girls, plenty of food and cocktails." Pfufffff, and he Was also gone. The boss calmly said, "I want these two idiots back in the office after lunch at 12.35pm ."

*LESSON II - NEVER, NEVER ASSUME THAT YOUR BOSS KNOWS EVERYTHING.*

LESSON 3 An American and a Japanese were sitting on the plane on the way to LA When the American turned to the Japanese and asked, "What kind of -ese are you?" The Japaneseconfused, replied, "Sorry but I don't understand what you mean." The American repeated, "What kind of -ese are you?" Again, the Japanese was confused over the question. LESSON 4 There were these 4 guys, a Russian, a German, an American and a French, who found this small genie bottle. When they rubbed the bottle, a genie appeared. Thankful that the 4 guyshad released him out of the bottle, he said, "Next to you all are 4 swimming pools, I will give each of you a wish. When you run towards the pool and jump, you shout what you want the pool of Water to become, then your wish will come true."
The French wanted to start. He ran towards the pool, jumped and shouted "WINE". The pool immediately changed into a pool of wine. The Frenchman was so Happy swimming and drinking from the pool.
Next is the Russian's turn, he did the same and shouted, "VODKA" and Immersed himself into a pool of vodka.
The German was next and he jumped and shouted, "BEER". He was so Contented with his beer pool.
The last is the American. He was running towards the pool when suddenly He steps on a banana peel. He slipped towards the pool and shouted, "SHIT!!!!!!!........."

*LESSON IV - THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SAY SOMETHING, BECAUSE SOMETIMES ACCIDENTS DO HAPPEN.*

LESSON 5 The organs of the body were having a meeting, trying to decide who was In charge. Each organ took a turn to speak up:
Brain......... I should be in charge because I run all body functions.
Blood........ I should be in charge because I circulate oxygen for the brain.
Stomach... I should be in charge because I process food to the brain.
Legs......... I should be in charge because I take the brain where it Wants to go.
Eyes......... I should be in charge because I let the brain see where it's going.
Asshole.....I should be in charge because I get rid of your waste.
All the other parts laughed so hard and this made the asshole very mad. To prove his point, the asshole immediately slammed tightly closed and Stayed that way for 6 days, refusing to rid the body of any waste whatsoever. Day 1 - Brain got a terrible headache and cried out for relief Day 2 - Stomach got bloated and began to ache terribly Day 3 - Legs got cramps and became unstable Day 4 - Eyes became watery and vision became blurred Day 5 - Blood became toxic and poisoned the body Day 6 -The other organs agreed to let the asshole be in charge.

*MORAL OF THE STORY: NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, OR HOW IMPORTANT YOU THINK YOU ARE, YOU WILL FIND THAT IT'S ALWAYS THE ASSHOLE WHO'S IN CHARGE!

Well this is an over due post, and added the fact that many has happen again. gosh I tell you this is nuts! So bare with me if it's too long.

Let's start off from the back.

Sunday Night
So I took the bus from KL, Pudu raya was suppose to be at 930pm. By the way, 930pm is not a good time to take the trip from KL-PG, this is because you will reach here at about 2am (give or take) Whereas 7 or 8 is the best. So back to my story, being at Pudu, a late bus is norm. So I knew too often to be panicking when the bus didn't arrive. Because imagine your bus is at 930 but all you can see in the platform is a bus to Butterworth and another to Kedah. So which is your bus? NONE! Well it arrived later at 950pm. (Bodoh!) Already 930 was not a good time to come back from KL, and now a delay? Gosh. Real dumb!
Now this bus is kinda cramped compared to others I have sat. And this is my WORST BUS RIDE of all time! Seriously! Well firstly, when I went to the bus station, I was all sweaty already from walking from Pasar Seni LRT station. So I had to change, or not stink the whole way? Er, I don't think so, but my shirt is all at the bus cargo. So I decided to change to my jacket (the only other piece of clothing in my bag) Well that is not too bad le. But still changing in bus like that and into a jacket? hehe.. Next thing was asking my mum to let me sit below the air con. I was all sweaty mer. She said "NO!" and I am like "WtH?" her reason was because she always needs the window??!?!?!?! crazy. oh well let it be then. Later my most irritating moment happened, first there was this girl that was next to me on the bus, she played song from her sony ericsson to the maximum volume?!??! At first I tried to not get distracted, tried to sleep while allowing her to enjoy her music. Or at least maybe she will suddenly realize there is people around her then she will turn it off. NO! She was so rude and kept on playing song after song after song after song?!?!?! So pissed at her. And in the midst of all this, an old man in front of me let his chair down so low that even my legs at a 90degrees from the ground will hit the chair. So uncomfortable I tell you!!! Ish! Also back to the music playing, there was lots of screaming songs and guitar solos to make me not sleep! gosh! irritated and annoyed I tell you. After hurling my self around I decided I have to confront. I was left with no choice. So she turned it down. Thankfully! As for the old man. I tolerated that irritation. A bus ride I hate of all time!

Monday
So today was another sad day, I lost my motorbyke. haih I went out with my brother and parked it at sunshine and then when we were back it got lost. haih... such a bummer.. I rather not talk too much about it already. But it's my sister's birthday! I got her a sweater from KL and she was so happy! Thanks to my gf I got it real cheap! Value for money! Yay! So besides that dad bought a cake for her. She was happy enough even though got lots of stuff going on today.

Tuesday
I didn't got to work because of a headache and I overslept! hehe.. Gosh crazy I tell you, never did that before, hehe.. oh well .... so during the day I decided to reformat my real corrupted computer. now it's finally fixed! woohoo! Not so much problems already and can play Dawn of War: Soulstorm. hehe Nice! And the computer looks brand new (new in software) so I am pretty happy of what I achieved on this Tuesday.

Wednesday
So back in office as usual. Found out there was 2 people in my cube, guys from Intel Kulim. Apparently they were here yesterday, haha I freed some space for them by not coming.. haha..What a joke. So today going to blog and read blogs I missed. There is one more post coming bout my whole weekend. hopefully with pictures! yay!

Liverpool FC

Okay I am a bit frustrated now but cant say anything bout it just yet. So I want to vent out on my team.

Well this season shows promise. Real promise. Looking at the Liverpool Team sheet I would say it is good. But you know what? It always has been good. But the major factor in our failure. Nope it's not one player. It's the goatie himself. Rafa Benitez. When he was appointed we thought it would be a different Liverpool we were going to see from the Gerard Houllier reign. Guess Rafa and him are nearly identical twins. Not in face obviously but in mind. So frustration for Liverpool supporters all over again. haih.

So let me list down his mistakes along the way since he came in. I will give the pros too. But later le.. hehe

Having a defensive mentality- Everytime Liverpool scores he will add a defender and defend till the final whistle, and this has backfire more than once. But since a leopard doesn't change its stripes, rafa will never learn his lesson.
With this, Liverpool always Lack the Fighting Spirit. notice other teams that win the league is always fighting, non stop till the end. Do you ever see Man U or Chel drop back? and invite trouble? well Liverpool does it all the time. We the Kop faithful seen it so often. It's really down to the manager. If he says fight till the end, the players follow! Get that Benitez?
Also Benitez has been kinda what M'sians/Singaporeans say, "Kia Su". He that's where his defending mentality comes from. haih. Funny to think that our "disease" in this part of the globe can reach him over there. Everytime draw, draw, draw, draw and not forgetting draw. Because he told his team, "Go out do your best, we don't need to win it just yet, just make sure we don't lose" and there he goes again. haih. That's why Liverpool are the draw experts last season.
His transfer policy, not that it's horrible? But it's no where near to good either. He missed out on a lot of players because they asked a bit more only. one that I will never forget is, Simao Sabrosa, now at Atletico Madrid. He didn't want to pay an extra 2million for a superb winger. Real dumb le. And then his bad signings, gosh there were many. Krompkamp, buy him for what? sell him off less than a season after. Luis Garcia? Buy already then sell him for what? gosh. Nut case and Pennant? why le? Got so many good players out there. Le Tallec and Sinama Pongolle? Carson? sold for what? Kirkland?!?! my most favourite keeper. This is just the few le.
And yes this is one thing we hate bout him. Playing players out of position. Most obvious one. Kuyt = supporting striker! not right winger! Gerrard last season Center midfield! not Right winger! Also babel, play him on the right le? he is right footed at least can cross. If not striker, why on the left? benayoun is played on the left too at times. For what? Arbeloa in center defence, gosh! He loves it. Simply loves it. Loves to push our buttons. He even said he would consider Keane on the left. Something wrong with him le.
Stupid rotation policy! I know you should freshen things up but then be smart le. Dont change jsut for the sake of it. Put players of similair calibre. Now also dont want to rotate Gerrard already in position too. But he is nuts, put him in every game. Even League cup and easy champion league matches. Gosh. And alonso is kinda a like for like change for him mer. Gosh kebodohan!
And the worst of the lot in his stupid actions... DIRK KUYT! is he in love with him or what? it doesn't make sense. He is always played behind Gerrard and Carragher. Always. they had an affair I guess or not he play bad also in. Good also in. Some players specatucular also cant be in. Babel, Riera, Keane all play well or not will be subbed. This guy is there all the time. Ish betul!

This is a discussion I had with a few of my church members, just wanted to post it so that I remember what I said. hehe... That's what blogs are for aren't they? hehe

My question is, What were the reasons you started to go to church? Where they the same as they are now? Where they the wrong reasons to go? (this does not included, funerals and weddings)

When you are a new christian, your 1st thoughts about Christianity is (dare I say it) all wrong. Most people (stereotyping here) start going to church for a couple of reason (there might be more):

For a girl/boy: Why? because you are attracted to him/her. You want to know more about him/her etc etc.. So you choose to go to church because he/she is always there, But then as time goes by, you get curious, You wonder why is this like that, why you keep doing this and that etc etc ..then your attention might just shift to the question of "Why Am I Here in this Earth?" Then the more one learns about him the more his life is changed. But yes there might be times you don't find God from that reason. But it creates a chance for you to be expose doesn't it. Many of us were guilty of that once weren't we?

For friends/acceptance: some people search far and wide but can never be accepted anywhere else but when he/she comes to a church and they shower them with gifts, attention, support and more. His/her 1st thoughts might just have been,"Wah church nice huh, give me this and that.etc etc" Now isn't tat a wrong mentality too? There was nothing to do with God yet you see, so he or she should go anymore? No so right? There is always a possibility that he/she will start asking as to why strangers would want to help someone like him/herself? Someone of no significance to the world (or so he thinks). So from this here is where the evangelist comes in. And as time goes by he/she will be touched by God and eventually saved. Yes I do know sometimes people do take the gifts and run and never look back. Does that mean we have to stop trying to reach out? I guess as long as there is a possibility we should try it.

Through rallies/concerts: The way things are these days people do tend to question the credibility of the such rallies and etc. Well here is where people are easily exposed to christ, that's why you don't make the sermons and sharings so deep, organizers usually rarely call them sermons too. Here christianity is just given an intro lesson. This is a place for us to invite our non believer friends. It's the most casual way to intro someone to Christ. So are you to do away with it because music conquers the emotions during these rallies? So how else you want to bring them in? Condemn them, holding a bible on one hand, pointing and waving the finger on the other? Doesn't work does it? That's why concerts and etc cant be so direct, they ease in. Yes there is also the fact that when there is an altar call 10 people go up, but maybe 2 or 3 only comes back to church. For me, I say so what? At least we changed a life? Would you rather have none?

And last but not least, Through family: Being a christian through your family sounds all nice and fortunate, if you realize how important of a responsibility it is to carry the cross and call ourselves christians. But at times this isn't the case, it kinda makes you take it for granted more when your parents force you to go, like it's school (assuming we hate school). It isn't nice when you have to do this and that for so many ministries. The earlier reasons will be used to as a reason to keep going. Then on the opposite end of the spectrum, if you already know the basics of christianity you keep asking for more and want it all to be ideal (not to offend but you have to admit, its true) Many of us are fortunate to have realize how much God means to us that's why we search for even more than the bible provides, that's why we keep reading the same verses over and over to try to analyze it and interpret it differently and exhaust all the possibilities of it's message from God, that's where theology is from if I am not mistaken. The studying and analyzing of the bible. If not it would be like our History subject in school only. But sadly this isn't the case for many others. Many aren't so fortunate to have found God earlier when they wish they did. some don't even know he exist too at times. That's why we are suppose to work on our self and also help the people around us that don't know of this God we worship.

I guess what I am trying to say from all this is that, we shouldn't judge people just yet and question their intentions so fast, I bet they are still searching that's why they keep coming even if they don't know. I say they but at times I question myself. It part of growing up, it's part of growing deeper into him.

If one were to be perfect there wouldn't be a need for help already. Here's an example:
There are clinics everywhere, do you visit a doctor just to chat and talk for fun? No right? You probably visit him/her when you are in pain or sick. If you aren't hurt you wont bother looking for the doctor, would you? So it is our imperfections that tells us we need him(JESUS) more. If we are perfect do we still need him?

Here is something weird and interesting to look at about the politics in UMNO.

Rais said he qualified only at the 11th hour [2]because he was not involved in buying nominations.

Well my question about this is very simple. He says [1]he can win if there was no money politics involve. Does that mean there is money politics being played by the other candidates and everyone knows about it but don't want to disclose it? Fishy right? He [2]sounds like he is having a grduge that they have the money to do so, he doens't, that's why he is using this tactic to get him to win the vice president post.

Ok when money politics is practised it means many are offering and many are receiving...correct? well here is another part of this story [3]that makes me wonder. He said that many are ready to do without money polictics. So he is contradicting himself here.

Well from what I can conclude, he is saying [4]that there is money politics in UMNO and that [5]everyone knows about it and nobody is doing anything about it just because... I don't know what more to say that what he said. For those who are voting or have a say in this, you really want to vote for these kinda people?

Stuff going on lately.......

As of now, I got stuck in my assignment, don't have anyone to consult as my "Buddy"(Supervisor) is gone off for training in the US. So now I don't know what to do already. My other friend whom I always ask is at Kulim (Mainland). So officially doing absolutely nothing today. hahaha

Besides that I am hunting for some computer parts. Having a dilemma as to when to buy. Because the PC Fair is coming, but usually prices around PC Fair is the same unless you want to buy computers or a pendrive. Those are stuff that can be bargained. I just don't want to buy now and look at the price drop at the PC Fair.

Stuff I need:
A 3-in-1 Printer
Everyone at home got so attached to it because it can photostat, so very convenient to have one in the office or home so I need to buy a new one. HPF4280 is the most likely model. Cost only RM198. Cheap rite.. ;-)
A New 2.5 inch Laptop Hard disk
Mine dropped a couple of times and now no longer can be used. Haih So stupid right? Here I thought I could look after my gadgets better.. *sad sad*. Well looking on the bright side I probably going to get a 160GB or 320GB. Hehe..Previously it's a 80GB and that was so precious to me already. Kept so many things for me already. now Upgrade like 4 times the space.. .ahahhaha wooohooo! nice...the price is probably around RM220++ for 320GB and RM160++ for 160GB Not much difference in price but lots of difference in Memory. Stuff I want:
A 8GB pendrive.
My bro wanted me to buy it for some time already but then I felt it's not worth it because way back in May it was RM70 plus. Now it's RM5o or so. Also because it wasn't urgent. He just wants to collect every possible pendrive capacity there is. We got 128MB (my first!), 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB! I got a few 2GB actually.. hehe.. but missing is probably 64MB.. hehe..and 8GB... haha... Kinda siao huh.. but oh well 8GB is very handy though. It wont spoil as easily as a hard disk and can store alot of stuff like a whole season of any show, 24 episodes. Tonnes of pictures. probably millions of song.. hehe

Where can u get wi-fi and 3g in a 800 dollar phone? hehe.. priceless! hehee... thats if it comes to malaysia le. ... hehe.. don care if alot of ppl hav it.. i still want coz its kinda a not bad substitute for not having a personal laptop. ;-)

Other things I am up to now. Well watching loads of shows. Just added Clone Wars, Chuck and The Cleaner to my list. Nice or not just watch le.. hehe... Hating Xunlei (torrent downloader), so unstable but still better than others that get blocked. I want deluge (another torrent downloader) back?!?!?! haih....

Also last sunday when going for basketball, My motorbyke tyre punctured?!?!?!??! haih... God has something against me lately since I came back Penang. My brother uses the byke more often than me. So does my dad, but question is, Why it happened when I use? Haih. Looked fine at first later when corner gone.. Haih...I use the byke 2 weeks before tat... sad sad me... thankfully i drove to a correct petrol station. And the place to fix it wasn't far. wasted money some more! why can't it happen to someone else. Haih..darn sad I tell you.. oh well.

Plurking is another thing I am doing now... haha... crazy addictive.. haha (Yes Eileen, I finally admit it! hahaha) oh well cures my boredom in office. And gives me something to boast about. U Mobile! Yes I have got a U mobile! Well mainly because of the 1 hour free calls everyday and 1cent sms. Kinda cool. Also you actually will get 2 hours because your friend also gets an hour free call. So imagine this, if every one gets U mobile every one calls each other for free! hehe ..cool rite.. the down side is that they really are unstable. They are tapping to the celcom lines for coverage. And their balance check isn't working. Haha Then again who is complaing when you get free calls. You win some you lose some ;-)

Also I will have to go back to KL/PJ soon to get some stuff from senior for next year. Hopefully this will let me achieve what I want next year. And also selling me some microcontrollers for a really good price. It's an offer I can't let down. But guys no promises bout meeting you all le. I don't know if I have time or not also. Aik Aik. Because I would like to give priority to some one *wink wink* hehe.. you know who you are.. hehe

I also added Live Feed for my blog and Plurking. Want to change my layout soon. Don't know to what yet. But will keep you all posted. Also about my comments and opinions, Becky seems kinda worried that my blog can be blocked or banned. Well I hope not. It's just what I think of stuff and I don't think I have enough regular reader to be a national security threat. So free from ISA? hehe... I really do hope so.. hehe

Here is something I found really stupid in the papers... Malaysian over thinking? Or just got nothing else better to complain about?

PETALING JAYA: Some may find it useful to call home via the new inflight mobile phone service introduced by Malaysia Airlines (MAS) but consumer groups feel that it is more of a nuisance than a convenience.

Consumers Association of Penang president S.M. Mohamed Idris said the service would disturb other passengers sitting close by as some would prefer to sleep or have peace of mind on board.(Nuisance? haha... funny I think the Consumer Association is the one that's a nuisance, first Wi-Fi in Penang, now this? Gosh)

“People also have a tendency to talk louder on their handphones compared to on a fixed land line,” he told The Star yesterday.

He said that passengers’ health might also be affected as they would be exposed to the electromagnetic waves emitted by mobile phones.

“No doubt people use handphones all the time even on land but we need to minimise their usage as much as possible as overexposure may affect our health in the long run,” he said, adding that the waves might cause body cells to develop into tumours.(Talk loud okay le, that I get. but health hazard? there we go again about Wi-Fi and all their electromagnetic waves, Which Professor are they consulting? I wonder)

Fomca president Datuk N. Marimuthu said that the airline should provide phone booths for passengers if they wanted to continue with the service.

“With a separate section, users will not cause much interruption and this would ensure a peaceful flight for other passengers,” he said.(Seperate section? Means not every one on the plane will get a tumour, only the ones near it? Ok. Got it *swt* oh then who chooses who to die?)

He said that the airline should instead concentrate on other facilities for passengers to pass the time such as improving the quality of inflight movie screenings.(so random, no stories to make up now talk bout movies? *aik aik*)

Muslim Consumers Association of Malaysia secretary-general Datuk Dr Ma’amor Osman said the service would be useful during emergencies but users must be civic-minded.

“There must be a compromise. Those who use the service on the plane should not talk too loudly to the extent of disturbing others,” he said.

“Just as how when alcohol is served on board, passengers must control their intake so they won’t end up getting drunk and behaving inappropriately,” he added.(You didn't complain bout alcohol (which is proven bad for health) but complain bout using phones up in the air?.... Consumer Assiociation huh? Which side are you taking? Yours?)

Passengers on certain MAS flights were able to use their cellphones and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) for mobile and data services while in the sky since last week through a joint effort from the airline and inflight mobile phone operator AeroMobile.

Well personally I think its suppose to be for convenience, and not everyone talks so loud le. Most people are shy and close their mouth but there is only a handfull of rotten apples. If one is so paranoid about the tiny minority then might as well don't do anything because everything has it's pros and cons mer... oh well....by the way MAS is kinda offering unnecessary things. I guess they don't have much ways to fight AirAsia already. But that's beside my point in this post.. That's a topic for another day

Unworthy Heroes

This is something that troubled me from the papers, I read that the Bukit Bendera UMNO Division Leader, Datuk Ahmad Ismail was given a warrior’s welcome when he turned up for the division’s delegates conference. Source: theStar
This is kinda disgraceful if you read on in the article it is said that they had a Kompang troupe playing for him when he arrived. He was also giving a keris which he kissed then raised up high. Just like how it happened before at then National UMNO Meetings more than a year ago by our current Education Minister. That was one of the unofficial down fall of the government in the recent elections. Kinda stupid don't you think? He apparently don't realize how the country has changed since the March elections. Added with the fact that someone of the minority in the US of A is the President-elect. Does he not know how to use his brain and have a sense of humility? Or does he not have the capacity to think thus far? More over the fact that he is banned from politics for 3 years, why is it that he attended that meeting. The main idea to suspend him is to not let him influence anymore grassroots to this contreversial remarks. Isn't politics all about influence? The fact that he is there, the fact that he is allowed to perform all this unnecassary and unwanted ordeals shows that he is influencing the people and thus practising politics! Action should be taken against this. The UMNO leaders should take note of this!

As that is only 1 part of the dissatisfaction that I have, the other lies in the UMNO Division themselve. These people kinda represent the very thing we don't want to see anywhere. They endoresed someone who has caused chaos to the public. It's like they are in support of a single racial dominance in a multi racial community. Added with the fact that they are in Bukit Bendera, Penang. Are these the rotten apples that will eventually spoil the lot? Well looks to me like they are. And what is the saddest part of this is that these people might not be able to be helped. It is because they don't think they need to change. They think the world has to change according to them. If the mentallity in this division is to be changed it must be a radical one. If not, this hate and anger will be passed on to theirs sons. Then the sons of their sons and there will be no end. It worries me that I will walk side by side one of these kinda of Malaysian next to me for this is my home division too. The thought of walking or working with people who look downs on others because of thier skin really does disguse me.

People/the youth should always be taught of the mentality to work for everything you have. Not be used as a means to comfort ourselves in a country that shows no respect for meritocracy. This should apply to every one, of every race and age. One should always think that nothing comes easy in life. That is so very true as you might be born of the silver spoon and things come easy you disagree with me. Well nothing is easy, you might not have worked hard for it, but maybe it is your parents who have sacrificed it for you before you were born. Ever think of it that way? If it's not your parents that it could be your grandparents or ancestors or some one. Because definately some one has worked their asses off then only can you enjoy the luxury in life. One should never take that for granted. But sadly what I share here is nothing but wishful thinking. That's where the phrase, "Life's Not Fair, Leave With It" comes in. God didn't make us with people of different wealth when we created. He made all equal in his image. So is life really that unfair?

Forget about nuclear bombs as the most devasting weapon every created. I tell you the most devastating weapon in the entire world is inside of our skull. It's the brain, where the mind lies. You can own only a motorbyke when others own a car, but if your mind knows of the positive ways to look at it. You are actually more satisfied than they guy with the car. It is always been how we look at things. The most simplest of phrases, do you look at a glass half empty or half full? Well the answer lies within you. It's up to you to decide what kind of life you want to live.

The US Presidency Elections! Yes apparently what happens in the US affects us too.

If you don't know who is running few months back, I don't blame you. But if you still don't know who are the two candidates, my oh my are you living under a rock. (Or in M'sian terms, Katak Di Bawah Tempurung!) hehe

Why it's Barack Obama not Osama! and John McCain!
Well the name Obama when I first heard of it, I was thinking who the hell is he and Osama? Hehe. It was all over the news when he was fighting with Hillary Clinton to be a presidential candidate. But I keep turning to the next page. Finally one day I took a good look at the news and followed it ever since. I almost watch history in the making slip me by! An woman in charge of America? I thought that was only a dream the producers of "Commander In Chief" wrote. Then a Black President? Wow! I Thought racism is still at it's peak in the US of A. Gosh left and right history is going to be made. Thank God I didn't let this slip by =)
Even now, John McCain is going to make history if he is the president, he will be the oldest president at 72! gosh! Can he remember how to sing his national anthem? hehe...

Never was a presidential run been publicised for the world to see. Never has America break the norm like this. Never has history been questioned like this. This is a sight. Our country's politics are just as shocking as the elections over in the US. But there was always something special. This man, who is from a humble background, an african american has and most likely will be the next american president. To me he gives hope to Malaysia that one day, we can see beyond the racial boundary. I wouldn't mind if that day was the last day I live. It gives us hope that even a country so rich in history can change and accept Obama. This is based on the saying that a leopard cannot change its stripes and also that old habits die hard.

If you want to learn more, just read the papers, news blogs, blogs, and etc this is a hot topic in the world now! So to the updates, as every one knows, Obama was leading McCain for sometime already. But what gave him an even bigger lead was how he wanted to handle the financial crisis in america according to many views. It already most likely he will be the next president, but I have read from numerous sites and feeds that something always happen just before the votes will be cast. Well I do hope Obama wins it, because he represents change, he represents what people around the world wants from a government. See beyond borders of race and religion. Whereas McCain seem to represent a continuation of what Bush is. Obama is the more understanding one of the two. Things he says and things he fights for somehow makes sense. No can help but relate as he is addressing the issues of the needs of the people. Whereas McCain is the more aggressive and "take matters into your hands" kind. I don't blame him, since he is a after a survivor from the Vietnam war and many other military escapades. I would think Americans had enough of people classifying them as peace breakers. I would think they are a bit tired of what the world thinks of them and finally decide maybe its time for a change. Just like what has happened in our country. I would like to dream that Malaysian inspired them, hehe... but oh well at least we are getting somewhere. hehe

Change is inevitable but its how and what is changing that matters. Malaysian are giving the opposition a try. Something which has never happened for a long time. Americans too want to give change a try. It's always important to get out of our comfort zones to at least glance at what other things are around us. It really does represent hope. I mean I love it when I see in the movies where the good always prevails. Where justice is served. Where kindness is awarded and criminals punished. Last time one would totally discard all this as they say its only a fairy tail ending in the movies where the outside world is hard and cold and if your not tough enough, your out. Yes it does sound a bit naive of me. But a guy can dream can't he? hehe

DVD-R & DVD+R

Do you notice that when you buy blank DVDs? Well take a look for yourself

I had to read up on this because I wanted to backup my data on DVD. So I decided to go get blank copies to burn. When I decided I wanted 100 copies the teller asked me +R or -R. That was a shocked because I didn't know there was 2 formats out there. Well DVD Education 101 started. He said it's okay and works the same (The price is the same). So whatever le. I purchased DVD+R and for a good deal too if I might add. RM95 for 110 copies.
But it didn't work as well as I wanted, for one it can barely burn the files I put in it. Always having errors and etc. Then it can't work on my desktop at all. Totally cannot be read. Aik! I was thinking gone le, money down the drain so went and ask if I could change them, because it is stated 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, Well I am not satisfied here, so that applies to me =) Its "Imation" by the way.
And I got to change it, lost 3 copies but oh well no pain no gain (in sense of knowledge)

Actually they are both valid but then of the different formats. They are just as good but have slight difference. So what the difference you ask?

English Premier League or Barclay's Premier League update! Through my eyes

Well just some thoughts on the season so far. These are selected teams I would like to comment on that stick out.

Let's start from the top of the table CHELSEA. Well people are currently saying Chelsea is the strongest even though they have many injuries. Well I tell you a fact. They are strong because they have many players injured! hehe.. Get it? well let me explain. Chelsea when at full strength is BORING! because they take away wide players. Notice why Mourinho won during his 1st season in charge? He had fantastic wingers! Duff-Robben-Joe Cole-Wright Phillips. They were key to his success. Notice how they faltered not long after Ballack came? Now Chelsea can't play attractive football because the every one goes through the middle. Unless you are Arsenal then you can ler.. If not then please go with the conventional wingers. I guess it good that Mourinho & Kenyon was not that smart to realize that. Now Malouda and Cole are what makes Chelsea dangerous.. Ballack and Lampard are great players. but playing them together is like playing Lampard and Gerrard for England. Playing a combo of 2 good attacking midfielders is like playing with 2 left legs. Managers do that because they know they are good and expect individuals to shine more often than not. Which is rightfully true but there will be off days for a player but consistency for a "system" So when ever there is injuries, Chelsea seem to win if you don't realize. Chelsea will always have a chance to win the league. But there are still others with a shout. Good team, bad selection.

Liverpool. The forever underachievers / over rated. PS: I am a Kop supporter. (It's not called betrayal. Should still be fair and realistic!) This season not many neutral sang the praises of a possible push for the title. And even Liverpool supporters were too afraid to be cocky. Because that was the intro to every season. "They finally have a good squad it's time to they challenge" and every year we are disappointed. This season isn't too much of a different squad but something changed. Benitez got smarter! hehe.. yay! He didn't chop and change the team. That's a plus sign. But he is still quite stupid. He is another that suffers the same problem as Chelsea. Liverpool has always wanted to put stars in and hope they do their magic under his reign. And why not? because Gerrard has done that all the while. Last season and definately this season Torres has done that and Carragher has no brakes and continues to perform exceptionally. But in order to win you must have a system. Man United win by have a great team spirit and a shape to their attack. Liverpool needs shape to sustain the entire season. When I mention shape, I mean wingers/width. and balanced wingers! People say Keane might be our answer but I tell you, Riera is the answer. See his performance of late? He is fantastic! Full of tricks, pace and an eye to cross! Wingers should always be the way to go because if they keep pumping balls inside and behind defenders, even if you are a serial misser like kuyt, you will still have a better chance than dribbling the ball into the net. Liverpool had teams to win the league since Benitez came in. But didnt manage because of selection. Pennant is under rated. Kuyt is over rated. Babel is out of position. Benayoun is benayoun. hehe.. He always knows how to keep us the Kop faitful frustrated to the max. He plays a striker on the wings (kuyt), Who at full speed can still lose to a tortoise and misses all the time. Keeps a right footed winger/striker on the left (Babel) which I know will be a fantastic striker. Because he loves to shoot same like Zaki. But sadly he is always out wide so need to run in to shoot by time he runs in, where got time to shoot already! Benitez is blind! Everytime we Kop supporters pray hard that benitez takes his vitamins on match day. Or not he ends up making cartoon mistakes. Selling crouch was a stupid thing. Retaining voronin is a waste of wages. Benitez is the main person to if and when liverpool wins the league after all this while.

Man United has a very thin squad this term. They still have a chance, no doubt. But it's not going to be easy lo. They need cover for every position. Strikers to Goalkeepers. But Man United has always won with a thin squad because they practically don't change the team throughout the season. But Scholes and Giggs are not good enough already. Ronaldo is over marked already since he make himself heard last season. Rooney and Tevez are similiar players. Can't play well together. Berbatov is still finding his feet. But Nani and Anderson are players one should look out for. This is their season to shine. Nani has the signs of ronaldo and anderson is quite the creative player. Their developments will be a boost for man u this season. Last season no one expected ronaldo to do so so so very well. They knew he was good but didnt realize that good till the season ended. Man United should really get new players in. Now they are still doing well, just that a few results not going their way doesn't mean they are out of contention. Man United best weapon is the not one player. But the hunger of the team collectively. Every one is hungry to score and win. That's what wins you titles! Good ol fashion determination i say! hehe

Arsenal this season is still the same arsenal since the Henry and Viera batch left. Arsenal has always the same shape. No shape! But how they are trained don't require them to have a shape because every individual loves to get each other in the game. Have you realize how hard is it to draw the graphical team formation for arsenal. The only sure in is the back 4 and the middle of midfield has 2 player. Everything else is free role. Players capable of that is Adebayor, van persie, walcott, nasri, rosicky, eboue and a few others I might have forgotten. Their shape is no shape because every one rotates. If there is someone holding the ball..every one goes near and is ready to intercept it. Only the middle midfielders don't move so much, this season is all about Walcott and Van Persie. Nasri might play a big part too. Fabregas is getting cocky and going to turn into a Ronaldo. Just wait and see. The 3 others I mention are key! they are extrodanary individuals with loads of pace. It's fun watching them. Arsenal will always be Arsenal. Every ones the football they play but no one can emulate it. All Wenger needs to do now is believe this crop of guys can make it. He really don't need to do much but hope. They are good enough in potential, whether it can happen or not? yet to be seen.

That concludes the Top four. Let's move on to other things that make the headlines.

Buying a bucket full of attacking midfielders is a joke. Modric and Dos Santos to add to Jenas with the thought of Ashravin? their old team was fantastic! Now they just waiting for people to get popular and buy them. Getting bentley was a waste of time. He should have went to a club that needed right wingers. Lennon is the only spark of this team. And So is Bent but then Ramos seems to love Pavlychenko. Yes I know the biggest problem everyone is talking about is the lost of the strikers. Well I think those are cover ups to poor selection. My Ideal Spurs team would be Bent on top alone. RM-Lennon, LM-Bale RAM-Bentley. LAM- Jenas or Modric CDM- O'Hara/Huddlestone/Zikora. This is the right way to play their attacking team. Ramos always end up with 2 defensive Midfields. he is not going to achieve anything with that. Spurs are doom le.. Seriously. You dont go 8 games with 2 points only ler. With the amount of quality you have. Ramos is to blame le. Although now they say its the sporting director but I think ultimately Ramos don't know what's his best eleven. That's why.

Others:
Look out for Amir Zaki of Wigan! He is fantastic. I hope Liverpool buys him! Not Heskey (Stupid to be linked also, Benitez again =.=)
Wright-Phillips has always been good, under rated only.
Lennon is the key to spurs, he makes people get all the steps wrong when he dances pass them
Alfonso Alves & Sanli Tuncay are superb players of skill. Just a bit unlucky now but wait and see lar!
Defoe and Crouch masterstroke of a partnership! Loads of goals bound to come!
Fellaini, Arteta and Pienaar. Key to Everton. These guys are very skillful! creative in many aspects and Everton's salvation!

For instance in accordance to the ISA arrest, he said those 3 people were held because they could be a threat to national security? Hello? What threat you seem more like a threat than any one in this country. After such a mistake at least apologize or come up with something better le. If you want to stick to that quote why is tat UMNO guy who caused all the commotion still walking about? and he is given suspension? Well he is not a possible threat, he already caused a threat to national security. And he is punished like that? And after he kinda realized his "national security threat" thingy cant work, he says the reporters arrest was to protect her? People are very fond of you now, er...*hint hint* detain yourself? Not very smart is it?
Also as many of us know, this is only the ones that could control it and blurt it out. Image all that racial tension that is in the grassroots. This happens to every race in this country. Funnily we still promote racial unity to others when we know deep down we are divided. I am not the one to take sides but I just saying, don't treat the public like fools. As my header says reality check indeed. I thought I could do it all. I called myself Jack of All Trades.. and I know also what's next. "Master of none" Well it has always been my problem. There never seem to be anything I am fantastic at but there are many things I am "Ok" at or "Good" at. This year has been such a roller coaster ride already. and it's not over by any means. Haha. I have reached my highest point already and my lowest also. I am thinking there is more to come.
Accepting my results is hard, I mean I thought I was among of the best, all cocky-ness aside that drove me to do many things this year. From studies, massive amount of part time work to engineering society, finding a very good place to intern, to wanting to be a vice president in myf, wanting to step up in PW, fixing my relationship with my dad, fixing with my friends, becky and the list goes on lar.
Well I didn't realize how wrong was I. It sound impossible and yes it is impossible. haih. Now I have no choice but to focus solely on STUDIES! That's what my dad put me in KL for. Everything else is just added bonus. They might be happy 1s and not so happy 1s but they are bonuses. Yes even becky is a bonus (A great one if I might add) but still studies have and will always be my main priority. Now on its back to the basics! I need to salvage a 2nd upper degree at least. Anything less would be a major major disappointment. Worst is that after that it's the working life. I don't think my dream of doing a MBA will come anytime soon within the next 3 years. I would say I always lived and over ambitious life. Wanting to please every human being I come in contact with. And we all know that as much as you do, you are not suppose to demand for anything in return. Doing good for others and expecting something in return is ideally not a good thing. People are in nature unappreciative. I guess I am guilty of that crime at times. I mean if I have no expectations in that or in anything, is life worth living? There are no goals, no dreams, no wants then whats the point in living. People who admit they don't expect are lying. They still expect to be rewarded in heaven at the very least (treasures in heaven). Well I have always lived my life on the edge of insanity and sanity. My confidence pushes me to the positive side. I love to try new things but sometimes don't follow up or end it. But it's not that my heart is not in it. But its just that not enough of it is placed on the things I don't follow up. Not having Passion in only one thing has always been my biggest downfall. Because people don't like mediocrity, people want quality. That is also the reason why I chose engineering. Not that my physics was the best (my chemistry was better) but the fact that I thought it would be a good 1st step into life. Where the pay starts off high. I do dream of bigger things, like owning a company of my own, having enough time to have a family while working, and seeing that my siblings all be succesful in life. I am afraid I might lose some if not all of this. Because somehow the only humanly way that can happen is by having loads of excess cash in the bank! And I worry I would end up being an engineer all my life. =( this freaks me out le. Haih I always thought I had potential in many things but seeing that we only live one life. How do I make my dreams come true? I am very much a man of reason but yet filled with hope. Funny how that contradicts. I guess its like this, I think rational but leave those that I can comprehend to God. Kinda cheating because when I am weak only I seek him. But I do praise him for my ever colourful life he has given upon me now.

Well I guess doing so bad in my 2nd year doesn't spell the end of my life. But it just makes things less easier. Well the backlash is telling my family how bad I did. But with the help of God in this, I am thinking I shouldn't worry so much.
By the way, this is the first time I am typing this kinda post in my blog. Haha It might come of as being egoistical but I can't be bother too much about it. This has driven me to all that I have done. And it will continue to drive me till I find something else worth fighting for.
Just want to leave you all with something that stucked in my head for a long time, I don't use it often to people but it just makes sense le. It's from Batman Begins. It stucked in my head all this while. No joke.

I am so frustrated now. In office at 10.57AM on a Tuesday! And I am frigging frustrated! Results are out. But then my password to log in to my Uni site is in PJ. And I was itching to find out after my friend got pretty good results. So from not caring (coz i tot i screwed up) to wow .. "i did better than her" means my results shud be better. and there I go, I called my college. And ask my lecturer. He said my overall was only 58% ?!?!?! haih .... i wanted to drop dead straight when i heard that. I was stunned. Then i put down the phone. Immediately after that my brain went on overdrive. I was thinking. I couldn't have done so bad? (sorry, i had high standards) and the emotions just keep rushing through. I tried to live with it, i tried to do other stuff to not think bout it but AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! can't contain it.

Then I had no choice I called him again. I asked about the subject I really expected to do super well. He told me i got 76% highest only?!?!?! WTH!?!?! then my maths 60plus onli??!?!?! my jaws literally dropped. I am in a stunned mode now.. haih... I am seriously shocked ler.. haih.. i really feel like crying now.. I hope and pray that he read the wrong name lo... haih ... reli haih...

I called 1 of my lecturers and ask her how i did. She cant tell me till tomorrow only. Gosh... she is a nice lecturer and she knows I was top before. And she even remember I did like 7 out of 8 questions when I only need to do 5?!?!? I expected near to a 100 for that paper and that my assignment too would bring me up. i got 76% overall when i expected near 90 if not 90plus.?!?!?! What's going on ler. Have I finally lost the plot? If I really screw up this bad. how can I not have expected it? I am as realistic as they come. The math just don't add up. I hope I can know how I did tomorrow. If its really 76% then.. I am seriously in big trouble. HAIH!

week 5 in Penang

Here is just some updates on being back Penang

Gosh! Been missing some one for so long already!
She has her trials now, ALL DA BEST K!
Finally have something to do at work, although they are still tutorials of some sort I am getting there
The work seems kinda fun and interesting. Doesn't apply to most girls though because I bet you will be dead bored with all this.
2 weeks till I go back for a weekend to PJ to work temporary for a day and see becks!
Results are out for my year 2 but then I didn't dare to check yet. Scared to have failed 1 subject
Good news bout results are that I don't think I fail, This is based on what my friend's result as I have always have the same result as her! YAY! but then still cant get it yet, forget my password. hehe
Drowning myself with loads of movies and TV shows! Thank God for torrents! haha
Eating a lot here, exercising a lot but still not enough of a balance. haha

Guess that's just about it for now...

On a seperate note, did anyone read the papers about Penang being fully Wi-Fi-ed. I find that idea darn cool and I think Lim Guan Eng is smart enough to get companies to do this and the state government is not even paying a single cent. But just when you think Penang is progressing into the future, you have bunch of jakuns/stone age people in the CAP (Consumer Assiociation od Penang) who don't want this to happen. They cited that the Wi-Fi has health hazards. I was a bit stunned by the public not being open to this. Because like me I would say its great having your whole city Wi-Fi enabled, imagine the convenience of turning on your laptop anywhere and you have internet connection. I don't know if this is possible but some households with desktops but don't have internet access can actually just buy a wireless card and internet is free. The last part I think that is possible, but we will wait and see. But the point is, why do go against something good for your city and state. It makes us the 1st town or state to be fully Wi-Fi enabled, why bring up unneccassary problems to hault the progress of your own hometown? That I can never understand. And mind you it is the president of the CAP which wrote on the "Speak Up" column in "the Sun".
Besides this the news of individual parties having their own internal elections like MCA, Gerakan & UMNO have been filling up the pages in the newspaper. Everyday someone comments on this, gosh! Well the March 8 elections this year made these internal elections more important because the supposed new presidents for these parties are suppose to bring the parites forward. Every new candidate keep talking bout changes only. That has been everyone's motto. Well all that internal bickering isn't going to help BN. We will wait and see what happens. I would dare to dream of the whole Gerakan party to join the Pakatan Rakyat. Even MCA too. As farfetch as this sounds, it seems quite possible this year. I think MCA deserve a lot because they have always been reaching out to the public and being ever helpful. My point is, if Anwar has his way, I really would like to see MCA prosper together with PR in forming the government. because MCA unlike UMNO & MIC have been very in touch with the public. TAR College and UTAR has helped many Malaysian and every one there is on a loan. This is just one of the many things they have done and I would think they can do more but then the constrains of being in BN where UMNO usually has their way has restricted MCA to just being a "Multiracial" BN Coalition. Anyways this is just my thoughts. PS: for now I don't need to take sides just yet. I can't vote mer ;-)

One Tree Hill

This is another series that needs no introduction. You started off watching because you either love Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Lenz, and the list goes on. Don’t know who there are? Gosh can I find out what other reason you are watching this show? Hehe So since its all about drama, the new season started off with quite a ridiculous plot. Lucas making out with 4 girls! 4 wei! Crazy! There goes the triangle, It’s a Love Pentagon. So again he is confuse, I really wonder how does one “Love” so many girls so deeply? Well actually Peyton was his first crush and so the long await (after 4 seasons!?!?!?!) hook up is almost finally a closed deal. Well it made lots of people happy. Let’s just hope they stay together for awhile.. too much drama already.. hehe But ridiculous love stories aside, Nathan & Haley are still going strong even after like so many seasons! Wow! So cun! There is also the sweet Jamie. I tell you, he was the one of THE best parts of last season. And I bet this season he is going to play a huge part too. And episode 3 is just. WOW. Gosh. I guess besides all the pretty girls, these episodes touch you to the MAX and make you want to cry. One Tree Hill is and all rounder, started off way back then and been stuck every since.

Glenn-O-Meter: Can’t wait for more drama. They just don’t stop

Viewers: Its really like a modern soap already, its fan based already, Feel left out? Go watch ;-)

Prison Break

This is one of the best 1^st seasons I have ever watched! Top notch! Now in its 4^th season and still can draw its fare share of viewers. Let’s recap the seasons passed, season 1: Prison break. (full stop). Hehe basically they trying to break out of prison and wow was the suspense good! Hehe.. season 2: Stay out of prison. Season 3: Break out again, this time not so suspense filled as the first. Amidst all this season, there seems to be 1 constant, the company. So when breaking out and in of prison gets old, now you Take down “The Company!” yes my friends that’s what season 4 is all about. Kind of like Mission Impossible. And Sarah is not dead, all that “I will kill your girlfriend in season 3 if you don’t break out” went out the window. Aikz and her role in this season is kind of non existence. But it is still appealing le. Again I love spy movies and etc so I am going to tune it. And for girls, well Wentworth Miller is still there, so drool all you want le, you got a whole season to do that ;-)

Glenn-O-Meter: I would say I want to watch it but not like so addicted already. Cooled off I would say? =(

Viewers: Watch the 1^st season, nothing can top that, later if you want to watch more then only go on to this one ;-)

Smallville

The never ending Smallville, well this should be considered the last season already. And I am just so curious to how they going to make it possible. How to match Pre-Superman into Superman? So many question arises, Lex knows Clark already, how can Clark hide his identity le. And he never wears glasses in the first place. Now he wants to say he is blind? Or does he wear glasses when he becomes Superman? So many questions so little episodes. Hehe,.. guess we just have to tune in to find out. They have started the season pretty fast paced. This saw the return of a couple of heroes, Green Arrow, Aquaman and Canary. And there is a twist to it Chloe has super intelligence. That’s cool. And Lex is gone. Clark lost his power and then gain it back again. Clark joins Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow finally! He also gets a job at the Daily Planet. Also not forgetting Lana Lang is gone. Wow so many things happen to set the tone for the final season.

Glenn-O-Meter: Pretty exciting stuff. Lots of questions as you can see, I Wan them answered! Hehe

Viewers: Erm.. for superhero lovers but then if you never watch it before, don’t need to get started le. I didn’t even introduce the show because its just too long already. hehe

Supernatural

This show is also another one for the guys only. Unless you lovely the 2 main stars of the shows then girls you’re on board too. Hehe Well as the name of the show goes its really supernatural. Let’s tell you the chronology of its seasons, 1^st season basically these 2 guys went hunting the supernatural. Season 2 was combating the Yellow Eyes Demon really scary stuff I tell you. Season 3 that guy die, but then there is a greater evil, Lilith again super scary le the things they do. Cool but chill to the bones. Filled with suspense and thriller. And season 4 well Sam has developed his powers from season 3 and its cool! Haha Dean got back from the dead. And again there is a new bad guy. I like the fact there is someone new all the time. The plot won’t get boring so easily. No need to stretch the ideas of the writers. So this season is again cool and darker for sure. I can’t wait! hehe

So I watched it last time too but then didn't really strike me or stick to me lar.. Last time just watch only, what's on TV WATCH! done. Now erm.. got more brain juice, so analyze it. Hehe Well when you watch this again it rings a bell, what you say? one tree hill? Huh? the OC? what? gossip girl? and etc These are some of the shows that are very similiar, chick flicks ppl call it.. Okay to the serious stuff, well this show is quite okay. Its a gooooood guilty pleasure..filled with dramas and love triangles, oh did i mention rectangles too? hehe... normal le ;-) ... its basically about 2 kids moving into the very posh town of beverly hills, and they are as well of as the people there, every one in the school drives a very NICE*! car [ expensive, posh, sporty, might never own one =( ] The show just revolves around these 2 kids trying to fit in. Pretty interesting characters they have there but from someone who has seen a lot of TV shows, they are basically same ol same ol. You have the Bitch, the outcast, the nice girl (lead actress), the popular guy, and the list goes on..seriously nothing new. But then again I love it.. okay I know I sound confusing here but, I just like to see what the hollywood producers can come up with, so tune in to it lar.. It's just like having more one tree hill and gossip girl, no harm there ;-) And by the way, there are Hot girls in it too ;-) [ just in case guys get bored, haha =) ]

Wow that's only one next, Fringe

This my freinds isn't for every one, its a science fiction show but pretty cool. The show is basically about a mad scienctist (yes he is mad because he came from a mental institute) that experiemented with loads of weird and unexplained phenomenons. Its basically our imagination or beyond it on TV. The first episdoe start off with a scene in a plane where some guy injects himself with something, and later his face just melts, and the passengers all follow suit. Everyone dies and the cops can't explain what cause this. Not terrosrist attacks mind you. But that's chemical warfare for you. So for the police to find out what on earth is causing this, they turn to a scientist who is in a mental institute for answers. He started most of these weird science research and scarily the world fight against these phenomenons rest on his shoulders. Another cool thing to point out, in that episode he explains he can make you talk to the dead through his/her concious for a maximum 6 hours after he dies. So this detective talks to her boyfriend who is in a coma to get the face of the man who almost killed him =) It's either going to be pretty cool stuff, or boring stuff to you. You choose. I love it..its just up my alley on the curiousity ;-)

Ah it's Gossip Girl time,
Okay this might get critics* on my back if I say something wrong, hehe (*you readers) Does it need anymore introduction? haha think not, will just skip to the point. One thing I notice bout GG is that the drama comes thick and fast, my oh my when one episode is done you can't count the amount of major changes that happens. Drama doesn't get anymore addictive than this! hehe.. So this season everyone wants to know what happened to Dan and Sarena? aiyoh just like any other show you would know lar.. they would get back together, but then.. How?!?!?! hehe.. Next you would want to know is, what happen to that Chuck is he ever going to get Blair? GG being GG make sure it doesn't happen by adding a new character in the mix. And whats this Nate doing? Whos that girl? (I thought it was Sarena seeming they talked about summer on the last episode of the season) Nah, wasn't her, Aikz if is her more drama ler.. haha... Well the first half of the season is definately going to be about Dan & Sarena getting back together, Blair & Chuck not getting together and the list goes on, this is a show I can't predict, because like I said, this is a show where the drama just Ooozes out, NON STOP! .. hehe

House MD

House the show with the mysterious diseases/illness and filled with sarcasm from the man himself. That equals to TV must watch! hehe. Well basically for those who don't know about his new staff well he has got them all already. Season 3's end was when he lost his team, Then the whole of season 4 was about getting a new one. Very very nice ler this season! But there was like 3 episodes at the end which was quite sad, and that carried on to this new season. It was the death of Wilson's girlfriend, Amber. Well he took it hard and blamed House for it. So at the first episode Wilson decides to leave the hospital. And Gosh House is going to be devastated because his only friend and bully buddy is gone. And the reason he is leaving, Ouch wei! you dont usually show mercy to House but you got to this time =( ...but all in all this makes for more drama. This season should be about how he copes and the developments of the new characters in his team. Can't wait for more! =)
Glenn-O-Meter: House is back! ahhhh! yes.. this show is good for everyone.. everyone who watches it loves it and gets stuck
Viewers: Everyone ler! seriously! If you never watch don't know where to start, Start at season 4.. One of the best. ;-)

Knight Rider

Yes you hear it right! Knight Rider, the David Hasselhoff in leather jacket and a talking car (Kit) the character in this series is aparently his son. I have watched the 2 hour premiere way back in March. I think its cool. For people who love gadgetry on a car just like 007, well this is the show for you. Sorry lar.. I know why watch another show like this, but oh well I am a fool for cool gadgets. Makes me dream. Haha.. There is much unpredicatbility in this show because its new and I don't really know how they going to do it. But I would say, tune in, because Kit which is a Shelby GT500KR, different version of the Mustang GT. Wow! ..drools..

DAY 6, 7, 8, and 9 is just as empty as space...

I still haven't got anything to do. Haih... it might come back and bite me in the butt. Mon till Wed had orientation roughly about everything you need to know about Intel and how the environment of the work place is and etc. As important as it is to listen to all this class.. my oh my... they are boring.. but its a must to listen so I guess I didn't have a choice. I really felt guilty getting paid to slack. Sounds nice lar .. but im the kind that has interest in all sort of things and willingness to try them all. Now I feel like a white elephant. So neglected and put aside. Oh well should enjoy this moment while it last I guess. Hehe

Oh and I bought a new webcam! So nice and clear, looks really cool and I get to see her. YAY! That was my highlight of the week. =) I miss you! Ahh! Tak Tahan ler! Haih…

Being home does have its pros and cons ler. I am with my family, my baby sis is just so cute. My siblings are quite mature already, so happy and proud! But then again my parents individually can be quite a pain. Haih Worst of all I am apart from her. Hate it when my brain decides to reason with myself. Sometimes I wish I would think and react according to impulse. But honestly I don’t think there will be a time I don’t use my stupid head. Over analyzing is not a good thing. Unless you are a computer then you have the luxury to do so.

Just like to write about this thingy, it is a small matter but then what the heck. I always wondered why do people cause themselves to hurt and joy so easily. Sometimes it feels like you can flick a switch and then emotions just change. All you need is the right thought and you can make yourself insecure, happy, sad, excited, nuts and every emotion you can think of. The mind is a very dangerous thing, its like a puppy, feed it the right food it will grow up to be a strong and tough one. Feed it the wrong things and you will get the opposite. At every instance you can feed the mind with positives and Wah La! Happy thoughts! Feed it with the all the negatives you get a bit “loose” personality or you just get emo. But again the funny thing is… to get yourselves out of bad times, it’s actually all about yourself. People can help and cheer you up when you’re down but do you know ultimately your mind choose what it wants to hear and what it wants to feel. So we should really blame people but our minds that make us sad and happy. For instance someone tells you, “You are cute” the positive mind will say “Ooooo he thinks I am cute!” but if your mind wants to bring you down, you will be thinking “Cute?!?! That’s all you can say?” The minds stirs up trouble from nothing but yet it can cure the most painful feelings and thoughts. I guess this is why when people manage to control themselves properly they will be God like. So guys and girls, that is a target we Christians shoot for, but you have to know also, its humanly unachievable.

I guess the reason I am writing this is because I analyze people so often. Sometimes I thought I know it all but then sometimes I totally get it wrong. It’s a funny thing this thing we have here. But then again how can you live without it. And I know this is so random so forgive me, well you have done me a huge favour for entertaining my boring remarks. Thank you.

Tales from Penang Chapter 1.1 =)

Okay yes it says work... well i am back in Penang. Exams are all over. So is my 1 week holiday..isn't really one week also.. haih... oh well... now I have already started work here in INTEL CORPORATION. PENANG DESIGN CENTER.

My first day was quite nerve wrecking, because I changed my reporting date I was worried they forget. Also there is this thought that crossed me. "Did I really get the job? I come right Intel or not?" and so on ler.. Still pinching myself being able to work here. hehe...
So in the morning..since its 1st day of work.. must wake up early ler.. hehe I woke up at 5.30AM! haha.. semangat-nya! hehe.. i know! Then my breakfast was Cup noodles...As I was lazy to cook and all then drove out at bout 6.30AM .. My work starts at 8am.. so yes i know I'm crazy
Then.. I came to Intel parked at the wrong place… (later only I found out) ..then went to the office.. I was so scared… was thinking.. is this right?...right or not? I working at Intel wor? Please let my name be in d list…then came d part where I need to tick my name … I looked here n there..AHHHH name not there..thankfully the guard say.. never mind write your name under there.. then I was like Phewww…. Later I found out I was not the only one…and that there is no full list. But still I had this thought at the back of my mind, sure or not… later after some short briefing bout my details..then after that she said “Wait outside, by 9am.. your buddy/supervisor/manager will come get you” So I waited….. this is like a puppy in a pet store… waiting eagerly for your new owner to come and collect you. So I saw one guy after another leaving.. My stupid head..started working again… so correct or not..so late already wor.. how come no one came yet.. ahhh ahhh… then there was this other girl also waiting … when she left.. I was almost in a panic state.. I don’t know what to do already.. then I called the only person from intels number to get my managers number…I was relief when I heard “your name is here .. no problems… let me give you, your managers contact number”… Phew phew… hehe turns out my manager forgotten bout me.. poor puppy.. left unwanted… and forgotten.. haha… drama nia..

Alrighty, then I was shown around the place I working at… looks nice.. there seems to be a lot of perks to this internship in Intel.. hehe… I got my own computer! Hehe.. so cool..been online everyday… I get paid to surf facebook, soccernet, n etc.. haha pretty cool…
Luxury number 2 came in a form of free drinks and biscuits… haha.. There is a coffee maker in my office… All the coffee, milo, tea, you want! Biscuits too…at least 6 types ler! All free during the entire day… becky say I gonna get diabetes too much milo.. haha I told I will restrict it to a milo a day. Also in the cafeteria drinks are all on the house (FOC!) from soft drinks to coffee to milo and etc ler.. and every time you eat here… you get a RM1 rebate for all staff.. pretty nice ler… hehe… food here is not bad…got noodles.. fried rice n mixed rice too..
Luxury no.3… People here actually encourage instant messaging! Hahaha! Wow! So fun rite! So everyone in the office has their own login name and all and everyone ..even the boss contact each other using instant messaging.. haha… best thing bout it is that you can find anyone and everyone on it. Because once you are an employee here.. you can contact anyone with the given IM, all you need is the name… then you search the database! Haha… So see a hot girl.. find out her name… add her.. start chatting ! hahaha… (Btw.. becky, I being dramatic ni, I wont pick up girls here! I got already .. hehe) Note to self: this line is gonna haunt me!...aikz..
All this sounds fun doesn’t it? Hehe… for now ..its fun ler.. I duno how in the long run though

So first day was done…came the second and following days… well basically I found out on the second day, that I don’t have much to do yet..because my Buddy/supervisor is not here.. he is off at another building. So I got the whole week off, the computer to myself and the access to the world wide web..how much more fun can that be for a budding slacker! Haha… So basically I was just looking around..finding people I know thank god I got some people I know … a few actually..so that’s cool…and then besides tat online non stop ni lar… played “Word Challenge” on facebook… ish.. I wanna get a high score ler! Haih… yes all I did was online .. online… and online.. hahaha…
Also I got some slides about how my training would be like. I find it kinda cool but its so hard to learn something so new witout examples and a guide.. so… from time to time .. I read… play.. read … play …read ..play…such a tiring job*! Hehe (*sarcastic)

So there you go…this is roughly my week ler.. been wanting to post everyday but some how when it came down to writing.. my brain just froze when the wordpad came out… also I was obsessed in getting a good score for the “Word Challenge” on facebook..People! Play it*..its so nice (*if your vocab is good.. you should skip this ..please la.. let me win.. hehe)

The weekends is here.. my 1st since I came back…. See how it goes… another “boring” day in the office.. (boring in every way also ler) but oh well… at least I don’t have studies on my mind ..yet… hehe… so chaos… it’s a frigging long post.. its been a while... look at d time.. i just finish one of my last assignments for the year.. another one.. but then it is after exams
wanted to post so many times but then couldnt manage le, i missed a whole july to post you know. now when i look back i will see, eh ... 2008... april, may, june, august, september... eh eh..where july? well coz i didnt post la dungu! aik aik... calling myself dungu .. hehe..must be the flu, the stress, the somewhat lack of sleep also le
so if you all dont know, which i think you all dont my exams are on monday... 18th till 27th.. 5 papers... the HORRORR.... cant stand it..been stress all month with unfinished assignments and etc. crap wei... going nuts.. cant wait for this period to be over...
but wait.. when this period over means.. i will be working for at least a solid 4 months?!?!?!?!? crazy i tell u.. no hols till i finish my degree ler... that time start looking for work already... wah wah... my life is going by so fast.. i didnt realise its been 3 months already *wink wink* I was like 3months only? felt so long ler.. hehe.... then also i realize i been in KL/PJ for 3 years already.. felt so short... haha....so now i drive around like a pro already. like i stayed here all my life... pure craziness... btw i still know my way around penang also.. so cool lar.. hehehe... got to thank god for all of this ler... whats left to update you all.. i wonder if people still come visit my blog also didnt post for a whole month d... got so many pics to put up but..so little time or just cant seem to squeeze time to blog le... i barely online and online also i call you guys to remind me to study?!/!?!?!??!?! im goin crazy..smallville tune "Somebody SAAAAAAAAAAAVE Me!"

Yup another week passes by and another week of no studying.. haih... getting really scared of my exams now.. yes i know its like still long.. in mid august.. but u dunno how blur am i in class?!?!?!?

Mondays are a good day to blog..coz just passed up assg on friday..new assg comes on mon too.. deadline usually on friday..so mon is relax day.. sunday can be tiring too at times.. so i guess mon is probably my weekly post..for now.. hehe..so ladies n gentlemen... tune in every monday for u weekly dose of gLeNn ... hahah i know its such a vain statement.. here is where u laugh?!?!

"so happening lor!!!!! ...NOT!" this show i tell you is such a lousy 1... oh my gosh?!?!?!??! waste time n money...oh well d only thing tat is good i can take from this trip is d fact that i can save the world from this show n tell you all

Well then at night on friday was nice... got to watch passion's indescribable sermon from louie giglio (duno him? there is alwiz google) its talks about how small we are that god actually took time to save us? after that most the geng felt so insignificant... haih..but its true... he compared us to all d earth, the solar system, the galaxy, n then the entire universe... we cant even b seen at all and this is all created by him... haha.... so next time if u think ur all dat! think again... ur nothing but a fly on the wall.oh n this was watched at shu yi's place..thanks for opening up ur home.. very nice le.. can i stay thre? hehe... oh then it was mamak later...

Then saturday was myf n bb n gb combined service bel leadin worship glenn singing.. n this is like d most encouraging worship in a long time! hahahhaah... so energetic! bel was like jumping around.. i also being in kid mode worshiping god was so happy too.. hehe ... then can hear them sing sumore! gosh worship was fantastic.. although always n forever.. strained my voice a lil.. hehe but who cares.. i had fun n its all for god! woohooo... wish its alwiz like tat ler..then the sermon was justs as good n entertaining... mayb coz of the slides le.... so colourful n all.... but to think of it everythin was reli good coz there was a big crowd of youths.. n i think one day... the sanctuary shud be filled and myf needs to be done in the sanctuary..gosh... by god's grace this might just happen.... hehe...

Then its's sunday's turn... visited whispering hope for d 1st time! promised some ppl i would go.. so go le... and you know wat... yu li ching doesnt know who i am.. hehe.. oh well don blame her.. i came after i go.. not every1 noes who is she..so skip this part ler.. hehe... the service was pretty decent... sermon was not bad... its a new church btw.. 5 or 6th serv only... =) so after that meeting some old frens from here n there... then i went to church to pick becky... didnt know if i would be goin lunch wit my other church members but oh well we went A&W... not allowed to eat again... well this time i din allow myself le.... hehe so after droppin them off..felt reli bad that i had to steal becky away from the CG leader training (chris, mike g & myf comm: i wanted her to go too.. but tickets for the movie was bought d.. sorry)

So off we were to watch made of honour.. hav to say its bit too hyped up ler... no chick flick since definately maybe and over her dead body...tats y i guess. hehe... oh well was ok ni la tat show... after the movie...took such a long time to decide whre to eat..as alwiz.. hehehe in the end decided on paddingtons house of pancake, so when we were there.. my gosh! took forever to order ler... d menu so B-I-G! haha...end up looking at pictures... shud just put d pictures le.. waste time onli let ppl choose.. hehe Then it was a decision between tokyo thingy..wit d american thingy...... thank god i made d right choice...coz its so friggin good... well becky did wanna eat at 1st.. but the sausage was so nice n cheesy no1 in d world could resist ler.. hehe shud have taken pic but forget! haih... d sausage is da BOMB! all d cheeeeeseee hehehe.... the american thingy... is a recommendation!

The night is still early.. guess wat... went for 2nd movie.. haha... "get smart" now thats a smart choice... hahaha but then it was between bank job n get smart..glad i watched it.. so nice le... very funny n entertaining all d way.. hahhaah.... steve carrell will make u laugh to the max.. and anne hathway is pretty good eye candy if u don think he is funny.. so there is somethin for every1 ..ahahhahahha.... (gonna get killed 4 my last qoute... haha)

Anyway.. my weekend was like tat le.. filled wit ups n downs.. .d downs all hav to do wit assg n another thin... wont reli share yet for now.. but all in all ...another day in being gLeNn who is pretty happy nowadays if u know y.. hahha... thank you god! so its off for now.. getting late.. monday over d.. shud stop blogging.. hahaha... Yes as you can see, the top says it all today I just got a Mail from Intel Penang Malaysia that they will be processing my offer! I am working for intel as an intern! gosh! happy le... thank you god, thank you kor kor, thank you so many who had a hand in getting me this job!

I hoped to get into Intel but then didn't want to put my hopes too high. So again another blessing on me! God is there a catch to all this? hehehe... THANK YOU ALL!

Last friday 2 assignments is done and dusted. today another one was just handed up. but there is more to come, got a deadline on friday .... and another 2 end of this month. They just keep coming ler! haih haih

This morning stayed up till 5am then woke up at 7am..but then took me an hour plus to get out of bed.. hehehe... so note to people out there.. DON'T Procrastinate..Start early or not this will happen to you!

Here is another suprising fact, yesterday night was the first time i go out with my cousin sister for lunch/dinner/any food ler! after 3 years living in this house never once i took them out, but then again, I cant their mum don't allow also.. oh well...

Although one sucky thing is tat becky's phone is still missing.. haih haih.... STUPID LER! Kinda spoilt my blessings only =(

Wah been so long ler.. i been thinkin too much on how to post something...
now i just realise ..i don wanna think so much i just wanna WRITE! hehehhee or not i wont post anything till i die and so many things tat is good has been happening all around me.. i just don wanna not have them written
so many things to say...so little time... actually so much time ler.. i got so many break i duno where to start...
Lets start wit some cool stuff.. i got a camera! on my bday thanks to my church friends! ahhhh Love u guys wasted i don hav pics on that day... oh been learning to pose more these days.. haih so vain d now... bad bad camera! i thank god for tat !

Currently looking for a company in penang to do my industrial training, been getting a lot of rejections! haih.. if only i can get d interview, i know i can seal d deal.. but oh well.. gotta keep trying.. anyone out there can give me a hand? Electrical & Electronics Engineer to be looking for a job here!
Something weird but my working experience with events is that it doesn't relate to my industry. so i dont know if i wanna add in anot also.. haih haih.. but oh well... try my best.. then leave d rest to GOD! =)
Oh another job prospect in the pipeline could be writing tech reviews in Malay Mail. hope i pass the test to get that job. It would Rock! if i get the chance, pray hard for me k!
Also not forgeting my studies! ahhh! exams in august.. need to study a whole years syllabus! in less than 2 months time.. way possible.. but shud start real soon! assignments been drowning me out... goin ga ga over it!

Its been a very BLESSED few months already ler... cant thank god enuf on my birthday he gave me one of the greatest gift in my life. someone special! hehe.. some of u guys know already some not... sorry for now its stil undisclosed. ;-) u figure out urself ler.. im not saying anything just yet.. hehe but all i can say is that I THANK GOD! for everything he has done for me! wish there was a way to repay him. It wouldn't be as rewarding if i didn't knew about Jesus!

Busy busy busy as a bee

Wow its been a while since i actually can find time to sit down long on the computer... been very busy with so many.. in so many aspects...

Let's Start with the various part time work i will be doing or have done.
Iron Man is coming out! 30th MAY 2008 in cinemas worldwide!

but you see here is the cool part i watch the show 2 weeks before it's supposed to be shown all over the world. hehe Well i got a job working at a private screening of IRONMAN 2 thursdays back. I was stationed in the projector room... I was doing security, so nice rite... my job was to stand in the room to make sure no one is filming this show, and i get paid to do that ;-)
I tell you, the armor of IRON MAN is COOOOOOL ... no words can describe it ler... the show is fantastic because it's focused all around the armor from how it is built and how it came about.. Don't miss it, later you'll regret if donut watch it.
Beside thursday, there is still many jobs i am doing on this show, there is reel collecting for this movie. the main idea of this job is to protect the privacy of the show. This is because also the American want to make sure the show doesn't leak before they premiere it. Americans very kiasu also ... hehe for this event also.. i will be in a tie & coat for the first time in my short life so far.. haha

Another thing that i just done is working at L'oreal warehouse. this job pays alot, thats why is very nice. Well it was still fun also le... but then being big and all... got alot of heavy lifting. Even though the other girls do the same, i semangated carry 2 box at once.. i admit to show that im stronger than them..so i do it le.. hehe.... guy thing le.. ego.. hehe
For this job I skipped my wednesday class, thurs was too hefty of a price to pay coz had tonnes of classes on tat day. Besides getting cash, i came back with tonnes n tonnes of cosmetics, (eye shadow, lipsticks, lipgloss, foundation and a few others more) ... thanks mei-xin for tellin me bout this job, thanks becky for convince ur mum to let me work in odd days.. n thanks aunty roslind for d job.

Well on the job and money side its been a great month, but i got another headache up ahead. My assignments. From having no deadline for 2 weeks.. suddenly 2 to 3 assignments pop in. The scary part is that i don't really have the time to do my experiments to complete my assignments. My part time jobs are worked around my free time. So in my free time i working... hopefully i can pull through. When i manage this would be a fantastic month. I sometimes wish i got a lot of odd jobs here n there le.. Can help my dad to not give me allowance! its my main goal ler =)

I wont be posting for a while after this..coz like i said.. it gonna be a real busy week till my Deadline in the 2 weeks plus time.

Yes.. i know i should have update long time ago.. sorry guys.. just been so busy with assignments that everytime on the computer its about assignments ..

well let me just say my assignments as of this moment is all complete. other deadlines are still bit far away. so can rest for awhile but studies is next.. haih haih this is college life ler

Okayz... let start things off with MYF camp... haha seems like a long time huh...
well camp for me felt so weird ler.. everythin this year feels so weird ler.. this time round for camp it was kinda free and easy and it was suppose to be my holiday.. brian agrees with me too... hehe During the 1st 2 days i was driving back and forth from church to class to home. quite hectic but its nice lar... then had a midnight hang out while i slept over at the wake room in church.. although there was class the next morning. After class on thurs met up wit brian and drove up to genting. Poor myvi of his.. kena tapauu.. by so many cars.. even a DATSUN (old car) oh well but the important thing was to reach there and enjoy the breeze.. ahhhh over at camp i forgotten to bring my jacket!!!! i know la i got thick skin but still.. i wan my jacket... so had no choice but to tough it up! another nice event was the FUN NITE... glad everything turn out well, because i was scared that the MYF are not gonna be creative enough. but they are! wei zian n zhi wei was the BOMB haha.. oh and me and brian.. we had our own concert for all the campers i was the guitarist he was the drummer! ! ! ! ! ! hahahahhaha those TMC guys reading this... all of that thing we did was IMPROMPTU hehe.... funny how it turned out besides this fun we also had another kind of fun d game is called MISSION BREAK UP (break up couples, hehehehe) so all the helpers and counsellors of my church had to mix around (FYI: we had fun with d myf-ers) and try to not let them talk in pairs or try hanky panky stuff.. haha..kids these days i tell u... hehe joking le.. nothing happen.. we just wanted to prevent it...
Yealo ..camp was a whole different feeling for me.. i was in the Committee last yr but this yr im a helper.. so i will describe it in 1 word, "DIFFERENT"

Next major thing that happen during my hiatus is my involvement in KDU's Orientation! thanks to carissa this was made possible.. hehe well my college had a batch of new intakes... 200 like that came for the orientation... 50 people like that didnt come but it was their loss le.. like any orientation the day was flooded with speeches, you should know who will speak la.. all the big shots n etc etc.... here something funny n stupid n sad thing that happen during this speeches, one guy came up and read from the slide the rules of KDU to the students... my oh my.. everyone was looking at their watches constantly, taking a nap, talking to try to stay awake... and this speech he gave was even longer than the principle's one.. haha
then after all those boring parts of it.. came the games section... most of the helpers were post to a group, but i was not in one.. i took on the role to be the in between man... sorting out things people don see... "behind the scene man" haha i know that was self praising, but it true Xp we went to tugu negara for station games, then to the orchid park for fun, then to another place which i dunno but got a huge playground
This orientation was nice ler... get to meet more people from KDU, can have fun poking the new intakes, know that my friend roy is hyper! hehe... its a good thing le.. keeps all of us going.. hehe oh and yes i skipped my classes for this event.. so erm.. i feel bad temporarily ler.. hehe

Then there is easter...again i did something weird & cool. I attended the 1st service in the morning 8.30, the MYF-ers did a Skit and it was great! good job... probably i wished i had something to do but then oh well.. im getting old already lar.. haih haih.. then left half way through the sermon to go for Praise & Worship practise at 9.45am. The reason why i had to go because i was doing the sound system & backup singing at the same time! hehe.. how cool is that... imagine some guy holding a mic and singing then having a sound console in front of him in church! hehe.. Also thankfully i had something like that to do lar... because for the first time i really dont have anything to do with the MYF sunday. honestly it feels weird ler... and also makes me feel old. but oh well should give chance to people also =)

I know this post is real messy coz so many things happen n i squeeze it into 1 post... sorry... anyways... got a big thing coming up soon.. i will be working on the premiere of IRON MAN baby! so nice! hehe tell u guys more details when the date comes by...

Has the ELECTION BUG hit you?

8th of march 2008 dawns a new day in the history of Malaysia. such feats can be compared to the completion of the twin towers, the day Malaysia conquered everest and etc. But you know what... 8th march 2008 still beats all this amazing feat. this is because this affect the whole country!

Funny how the election bug hit me after only. this could be down to the filtering in the press. but I would say its the same for so many people. This is also added the fact that i am 1 year away from being eligible to vote..so i didn't really follow it so closely because all the juicy stories are no where to be found. But of all the elections i have gone through... but I knew before hand this was suppose to be unpredictable. But i never predicted this unpredictable also... Everyone thought it would be another BN win but then maybe very slim in Penang and other states that have the history of tipping over at any given time. Who could have predicted an almost sweep of all the state seats in Penang Island! it's the island where our PM is from wei! suppose to be his stronghold! and Kedah? under PAS? wow wow... this part got 2 wow... SELANGOR gets another 3 more WOWs wow wow wow wow wow. The places i call home, are under opposition! hehe... what are the odds? hehe... my gosh.... i was stunned when i got the call that penang is under DAP... then laughing with my aunt when Selangor under Keadilan.
This really is what i call a revelation of immense proportion

Also guys imagine this, Government offices are in Petaling Jaya and all around selangor. Now that they lost their state... they wanna move where? hehe... gosh...seriously ler.. this is so weird! i would think Johor is the next best place.. Capital of Malaysia, Johor Bahru. hehe...

People are worried about racial instability, but i think this is the Peak of Racial Unity, our multi-racial citizen can finally agree on something together! When has that happen? Always are hopes and dream are shattered the next minute we think of them. This time there might be something installed for Malaysian, and i really believe this;

Finally MALAYSIA GOT HOPE!

I really don't know how to contain this feeling inside of me, but it's not all 100% of joy that the opposition wins. This is the time for the opposition to step up! this is the time for the government to step up! the way I see it, its a Win-Win for the people! because right now government has to buck up. If not the repercussions will be dire in the next elections. why i say win-win is also because even if the Opposition fails to step up & BN win again next election, we will have a better government. So kinda glad it happen, Although there is also the question of funding from the government to the newly governed states. Still whatever way you look at it, Malaysia is shaken. Koh Tsu Koon calls it a tsunami, i slightly disagree because tsunami destroys everything. A political earthquake (magnitude 5.0 (medium)) is what i call it, HeHe and the sleepy heads have no choice but to wake up. What an election is this! will remember this for the rest of my life whatever the outcome in the coming years.. looking forward to many interesting years ahead =)

How do you over come emptiness? another question is how do you get so empty anyways? One can be surrounded by so many things but yet feel empty, and this kinda of emptiness is the worst of it's kind.

How often do you look back on your present situation and try to change things? for many it's once in a blue moon because looking back is either painful or scary because reality of things aren't very pleasant.

How often do you believe you can change a person(parents, siblings, friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, other half) so badly that you put your heart and soul in it, but then at the end of the day (after trying so very hard) something made you realize that it's totally impossible to change that person? How do you deal with that? How do you adapt to that change? Importantly how do we move on from it?

Many times we know when we pin our hopes on God, he can't really disappoint, it's us who disappoints him. But is it wrong to pin your hopes on someone on earth? Like your parents, siblings, friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, other half? Even if everyone knows that people will always disappoint because we generally aren't perfect? Are you willing to put your hopes & expectations on these people (parents, siblings, friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, other half) knowing that one day they will not live up to your expectations & disappoint you

Do you believe when you achieve it all then only you should give back? It's like the prayer of "God if you give me this / that, then I can go all out for you" Is this really true? What if genuinely you really need certain things to be able to do certain things? Are you lying to yourself? Are you using this as an excuse when you cant achieve certain things?

For once I don't think I want to answer all this because the answers can be scary. Do we really want to know it all? I have always assume it's not the destination that is important but how we get there.... It's like in the movie "Click", Adam Sandler can fast forward his life so often but then later he realize how much he misses the process of living life.

How do you select the BEST?

Another weekend passes by, and yet i haven't recovered from so many scars of late. Well I truly am hating this feeling of not looking forward to my week of college ahead. It was not this bad last year.. but this year is so different. haih... I really think it's because of my project as i still have no direction i am settled on going. Still in the process of finalizing a project. That could be a major reason why i get so tired mentally thinking about this during all d weeks in college.

So besides that let me update you all on what has happened since my last post. Right now I am proudly the official President of my Engineering Society, but then somehow it's not like a victory of sorts as I kinda secured my post long time ago. Every other positions were up for grabs in my election except mine. Well I honestly want to make a difference here so it would kill my hopes after all my effort if I actually didn't get the position that i have worked really hard for. Well yes i hunger for power, but i am definitely gonna give it my all just like in everything i set my heart out to do. So i would like to think and comfort myself that my intentions are good. if you don't think so, then oh well... i can't say anything more...

Another thing was the committee that i hoped for. The committee turned out so different from what I hoped for. Felt a bit of a disappointment but then looking on the bright side, i got to know some international students from my course.. so i guess thats a plus. Well i would reserve my judgment on their credibility for now. And I see a glimmer of hope that my vision and objectives for the engineering society this year can be carried out... so i will do my part and leave the rest to God. =)

To be frank, democracy and dictatorship isn't too much a difference. Democracy is overrated and dictatorship is misunderstood. This was what i think of after talking to 1 of my friend. Why i say so probably is because with democracy,
1. Many don't even care for the party, society or organization, but the vote for the sake of it
2. Also, many care but don't bother voting as they know/think their votes won't be much of a difference
3. the people don't really know how to vote for the best guy for the job
4. End up the most popular guy gets the job, not exactly based on the abilities of the leader
Whereas for dictatorship, you choose only 1 person to run the country, society & etc, but most likely this guy has the passion or a certain vision... with this concept you can get the best of the best, although pass experiences could mean if you get the best leader in hitler but he is heartless, still, you get the best. (he has his reasons and visions to why he does it ler)
It really beats democracy in the fact that in whatever you do... definately you can't vote for the right guy because the public you serving don't really know how to judge ones leadership abilities. This is where your peers should come in, (for politicians, fellow pololicians/ for society committee members, your fellow committee) these people who work with you know what you are capable of. so i think the voting should be done by your peers.. not the people you serve. But then again as you know there is it's pros and cons. the pros of democracy is that no one will be solely powerful in any organization. all this very subjective obviously, but then im just saying.. when you look at it.. there isn't really much difference.

Here is one way i think Committee Members in clubs, societies & etc should be done. Just like the above, your fellow committees, teacher advisor, people who have been through the process should be the only ones selecting /electing the new leaders for clubs & societies. they know the candidate well and therefore the correct leader can chosen based on how much work he has put in. but in practical terms that doesn't happen often. People love to have AGMs (Annual General Meetings) to elect a new committee... when this is done, the people don't really understand the weightage of all these roles. so they just vote based on popularity or many just want to get their friends in trouble and laugh at them when they fail, so they just nominate these guys. And the thoughts going through these guys will always be about, " I can do it ah?.... maybe le... ok lar.. just try lor..." my question to when this happens is ... what happens to those who work behind the scenes? what if they really are very organized but then they aren't capable of being outgoing and as sociable as those who can. Are we to let them remain in the backgrounds? because when people are elected and they screw up. It's these people who pick up the pieces.
There is also the alternative of campaigning, so my question for this is Are voting for the people who make the loudest noise? are we voting for the people who we see their faces paste all over the place? Where is the point in promoting yourselves like this? not everyone can manage to be outgoing and also capable of delivering the goods. Most likely in this case you would get the people who know how to talk and give empty promises. Would you want a president like that? i wouldn't. When campaigning is done, generally people vote for popularity & good looks, and you can't blame many as they don't know whether the candidates will keep their word & also they are not in the loop to know if you have done anything previously. All the public has to go by is by what you say. are words enough? again yes all this is really subjective.. everyone has their views on this too...

This some thing i really feel strongly about, rewarding those who don't know how to express, but unfortunately life is never this simple, people don't always have ups, nothing is always smooth-sailing.

Have been back in PJ for a week already... but cant help but still feeling the effects of penang... super tired nowadays..extra lazy.... filled with doubt.... filled with guilt.... filled with anxiety.... empty on exercise... and the list just goes on.

Right now also bit tired of all the assignments and all...trying to get back on track..but its a bit hard ler
Also wanna wish that i dont need to study already but in the next second..reality hit me... WORK IS WORST!... I'm like What de Heck? haih haih...

Well got a major thing coming up on Wednesday.. the AGM of my Engineering Society. It's the new & Improved (hopefully) Engineering Society. Gonna pick new committees so that I can relax more (again i hope lar) biggest problem has been getting to pick people who are willing or stupid enough like me to work pro-bono for the KDU engineering department. A bit hard though but then i have found a few that i can rely on ler... so thank god for that... but next prob is whether they will be voted into those positions i don't know yet... haih haih..... also I'm bit tired of thinking and all.. gonna have to work out how the whole thing is suppose to go..i think just to create awareness i need to have a presentation on our past events... and there is no one to delegate that work to!!!! really sucks wei... but hopefully when I get my new committee i wont feel this way anymore...

Lately been hating to make decisions... kinda tired of it... i want solutions that is not though of by me. it sucks because my group of friend pretty undecisive and cant even do simple things like decide where to eat... honestly it's mentally exhausting when people around keep looking to you for solutions because all they do is come up with questions they don't want or can't solve. So it's sucky ler.. what to do... aik aik....
This year responsibilities and going down in terms of numbers, but increasing in term of it's weight. So right now still try to find my feet in the new year....

Gotta keep praying & hoping things will get better as the year unfolds.... thats all i can do =)

Ah I am back... and here comes the Chores.... gosh they never end...

Been back for 2 days and already accomplished a few things. Wow is this trip worthwhile or not, 1st there was the fact that I had a Menu to fix, Hardisk to fix, Friendships(reunion) to fix but when i came back then came the next chapter, a Door to fix, a Gate to fix(different from door), an Operating Software to fix, and some other stuff i missed out.
Apparently i sound like all I do back here is fix stuff let it be biological, physical, mechanical or wat-sa-Cal. It's always been about mending things one way or another...

Here is a fact of life, (from gLeNn's prespective)
I have realised that there is no need to wait so long for a relationship to happen. because if u wait too long it will never happen. if u over analyse it, it will never happen. if you care too much, it will never happen. if u understand too much, it will never happen. if you want her/him to be happy too much, it will never happen

Love cannot be reasoned with, it needs to have the 2 essential ingredients, COMMITMENT & FAITH.... with these 2 ingredients even the weakest of relationship can last through the storm and every thing that you can possibly think of.
When you reason with love, u put yourself at risk of needing too much answers when all you need is "I LOVE YOU, EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE OK" to get you through the days.
What you see in the movies, happens in the movies only, there is no such thing as a girl accepting a guy if he was her friend first. There is only like a one in a million chance that would happen =)Because when it comes to girls, you are either a friend or a potential bf, no inbetweens or up and under. So take your pick guys, no sitting on the fence here.
If you choose to be a friend, then god bless you as you will take forever to find a girlfriend, because they are so close to you that the thought of holding your hand will never cross their mind. the thought of your arms around them is a distance memory as they have registered you in their minds that "You Are a Friend" in their minds just like a Tatoo!
If you choose to be a potential bf material things happen otherwise, they will give you a shot, and almost all girls will try to work the relationship with all their mind, heart & soul..even if it means they have to sacrifice this and that =) .... Giving up in relationships is not in the dictionary of girls, isnt it true? there needs to be at least a few night of sulking and few nights of "I can't take it anymore, he doesnt understand me" then only the "Break Up" will happen.. so if u so happen are that lucky guy who has got the chance already.. please dont blow it as all the other guys out there have lost the chance with her already.

Life is actually all about taking chances, so if you are too scared in the 1st place to take the leap, others will jump ahead of you. if you worry about the splash you will create after ur jump, others will gladly try it then see how it pans out. If you wait too long, you lose the guts to even jump and then you turn around. if you jump without thinking at times you will fall face first and thats gonna hurt even the strongest guy around. but if your lucky, you just keep going up and then jumping down and you will be able to get through life with a couple of scars and nothing more... so it isnt fair, but what to do, the world is made this way.. learn to accept it, dont try to change it as it's pointless. many have tried and those non-looking jumpers have pimp them to all the successes in life.

Forgive my comparisions if its too confusing.. just wanted to make it interesting... just that this sort of things have been happening around me so i have to pay tribute to all those who feel that it's the end already when they are going through this...
you know i love to write like this, makes it so much fun... =) oh well so im signing off on that note ;-)

I know guys, its been awhile.. and there is a reason to that...don't worry it will seem like a never ending story..but i will try to make sure i slot in an ending.... eventually.. hehe

One main reason is that when being in penang... my need to write.. is high... but the amount of time i have to write.. is non existing... and I dont think I want my dad reading my blog. So I dont even visit other peoples blogs because I am scared of my dad back tracing it to mine....

If my dad found out about all the things I have been doing he will go boom... wanna know more.. can ask me personally le...
there is a lot more of darker sides to it.. but i dont i wanna post it ler... dont want you guys to be on the same road to no where... =)

Well let me just list my couple highlights ler... erm... I manage to train my brother in a lot of things when i was back there.... though my sis was too caught up with her girl guides to actually talk to me often.. but oh well...... there isnt much huge happy happenings ler..
my cousin form UK who i have not seen in 9 years has finally came to Malaysia... been so long... and she always have been taller than me.. then now...she no longer is... haha... and guess what was my 1st sentence to her after i hug her... "I'm taller than you! " hehehe I know that sound really mean.. hehe.. but then it was meant to be a joke to break the ice. Was really glad so see her though after all these years..
Also my friends from PJ came up to penang, (up not down.. hehe read the map) really had lots of fun... showing them places to eat was nice because it's been a while since I ate at those places... had a lot of fun ler... didnt expect the friends that cheer me up in penang actually came from pj... hehe.... well if you guys are reading this, all i can say is thanks a lot guys...
Another thing was the fact that I create my new menu for my restaurant... this time it's 80% pictured on the over 100 dishes that can be found in Rooftop Kafe. I did all this in 4-5 days. Taking photos of every dish about 90+ dishes, selecting, editing and cropping everyone and designing the template and the layout of the whole menu. It was the fastest I ever done for such a big project from my dad. But sadly because of the printing company it cant be printed out yet...so when i go back to penang i need to finally sort it out and I can finally see my end product...cant wait!
Yea basically that's about it ler... all my 3 months and I very little to show from it.. hehe... oh well... better than nothing right...

Then my story continues here in PJ, when got back have been doin a lot lately also... finally got my 1st worship of the year... tried really hard songs (vocally) but manage to pull through... thank god and my team for that! and church got a new electric guitarist already.. hehe finally!
Also finally gave up my post as a committee in myf, but another door has sort of open up. A return to BB... quite tempting.. but then I don't wanna decide yet. this is because im expecting a lot of pressure to be on myself in my 2nd year .... need to maintain my good average from year 1... need to shoot for the stars.... =)
Not to mention my involvement in the Engineering Society in my college... this year is the year I am suppose to start a more systematic way of running the club... paper work and all... so i expect big things to happen this year almost everywhere... and i am preparing for the worst.... hopefully that doesnt happen though. Speaking of society I also need to follow up on my promise of wanting to serve in my CF this year... nothing big also again though... gonna have a full plate soon... =)

Well to something more current, i just came back from a weekend at IIUM, International Islamic University of Malaysia. I joined a competition sponsored by my college... representing them... well it was kind of a waste of time.. but i wanted to certificate...so i guess i have to tough it out for the 3 days... well my team screw up here and there... many things happen... so i was assuming that KDU PJ was gonna get a embarassing 23 out of 23 teams participating.. guess what.. to my suprise...we actually got 13th overall... this meant that my college being the only private college there beat of 10 other universities from malaysia while we did really bad in almost every round. these universities were comprising of uitm, utm, ukm, iium, utem, and etc... (by the way..don ask me all this unis from where i honestly dont know!) but like i said the shocking part was that after doing so badly ... we still manage to get 13th.. and also i was on holiday for 4 months.. imagine how much better if me & my friends actually studied.. hahahhaahahhahahaha.. was laughing my socks of when we heard the result... still shell shocked.. regaining my bearings.. hehe..

Finally... i will be going back to penang this coming weekend..then will be back on the 11th of feb... long hols for me... hate that im missing switchfoot in concert... but haih... So anyway i promise to keep posting again... the hard part was starting again... and today i just jumped over that hurdle! it's an achievement by itself =)

just that things have been a peachy as i hope for.. so its a bit hard to write. I can't explain why but it just is... well give me time and i will continue my granfather granmother story ;-)

What a rough week......

Well things started to got bad after 30 hour famine.. hehe... something happen in during last weekend... PW workshop time... PW workshop was nice..thanks Daniel Chan... he taught me all the important chords... hehe... and some chord progression and etc...something which i have been dying to learn..FINALLY someone has taught me! hehe.... as for the negative side of it... i would leave that for another day... hehe...

Then sang in church on that sunday... it went well... even though my nose was still filled with "yucky stuff" hehe... not as bad as my last time out there... coz last time singing i needed a whole box of tissues & a plastic bag to keep all the "used" tissues.. hehe... you get what i mean le.. later in that day...waited for a call..but then didnt come... so stone-ed at home all day.. sumore sick & little bit emo.. hehe ...

So then came monday... was suppose to meet another friend today... and guess what... he canceled.. not that it's his fault but then it just happened.... was really looking forward to meet him...but oh well... ish ish... then i decided to just call leej up.. asking leej if he wants to run.. so he agreed... guess where we went? we decided on what i suggested last time... "Lets run to church one day" (reminder: this is said after our run to 1utama) so this time he told me... let just run to church... and seeming i got nothing productive done on monday... so i agreed... and YES! we did it... it took us 45mins to jalan gasing (EPF building/church) from SS2.... and then another 45mins back... wow... it just felt good... hehehe... i need to count d kilometers we ran through... hehe
oh cover your eyes if you don't like gory stuff... below is a snake me & leej saw "Pancake-ed" along the road.. and those red dots are the fire ants! HUGE ONES! hehe

Well running to church was the only productive thing that happen to me all week... besides friday... hehe... then came tuesday... time to go college and work on Engineering Society work.. so in order to solve my all time problem of not enough participation in the seminars and etc... we decide to come up with a Event, "Breaking Barriers". this event is meant to get all the KDU Engineering Students together in one time and then just give them a time full of fun... because KDU students need to be PLEASED & REWARDED handsomely before they can give anything... so me and my committee planned this whole event all morning... then afternoon I went and discuss our plan to the Department head & lecturer adviser.... they loved it (so i think le) .... then i was asked to type out a proposal for the event.. took me such a long time to write that proposal.. i stayed in college till 7pm! almost like first time.. with classes also never this late... haih.. i was so pumped up... well also i been CRAVING TO RUN AN EVENT for like FOREVER! AHH! its killing me!... ok thats beside the point... so my whole tuesday was spent in college planning this

So came wednesday... this day totally boring.. boring to the extreme... did nothing all day..laze around..watch & etc..... was abit emo at night too lar..crap almost every night emo.. haha... sad case le.. i know.. well 1 main contribution to me being totally down...was that my event was postponed to another date... and that date is totally inappropriate for such an event as the Engineering Society would need to try to convince kids in secondary to come to join KDU... then we have a Field trip like few days later..so kinda stupid for my lecturer to do such a thing.. but the blame is not only for the lecturer adviser but also my school dean! im like..what de? you want us to create a community for Engineering students.. you want us to revive the engineering society.. but "hell-o!" where is the support? ish ish.... cant take it at times... little too much lo... well this news totally wind me up... adding to my whole day on tues.. they just dismiss it like that... oh gosh... so ish ish ish ish!!!!!!!

Then came thursday... another day i wish to forget went to college to discuss the event being postponed with my president & lecturer... guess what was the priority of the meeting? it was next year january-march's event for the "brain-wash" session of us to the secondary kids! gosh.. as if KDU not rich enough already... so we need to come up with posters and set dates that we dont know if anything will happen or what..sounds pathetic but then its more important to him to look after people who has not even invest anything in KDU... whereas the students here in KDU as being neglected! ish ish! so thats not the worst thing..im suppose to go futsal ... was really looking forward to it... to release some stress le... guess what?!?! it got canceled! aduhai... God really wants to put me in my place... hehe.... but then at least kenny half made it up to me and took me for a movie le... had some time to not think bout my horrific week.... watched "the brave one" by jodie foster (really Dark show.. but then i dont mind the story..its not bad.. something new) ...so later that night... fatin, (my committee member) gave me a poster she prepared for my lecturer... and in this, we plan to have quiz show for the secondary students.. so we sorta need to release the info early... then i came up with a name for the quiz show.. (lecturer wanted a catchy name) my idea early in the day was "BATTLE OF THE WITS"..... then when i saw the poster (get ready for a laugh!) he called it "BRAIN DRAIN CHALLENGE" ?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! gosh i was really shell shocked! how can he come up with it and still accept it? hehehehehe... what a joke... oh well..so i didnt want to waste my energy... and let it be...

Then Came friday... the most un-planned day among all... woke up early in the afternoon..( hehe afternoon..not morning) at 11.30am..wanted to go to college because was told there is an interview with the student council.... so i was like..ok la.. just go... coz i need to know more people away from engineering la... then since i woke up already i thought CF was at 1pm..then i walked to college at 12.15... i though initially i was early for CF... but CF got brought forward & it started at 12pm... but then when i reach.worship just started.. hahahaha... perfect timing.. hehe... (rmbr goin to CF was an impulse thing) WORSHIP WAS GREAT... songs were very high but.. hehe.. still nice! later i found out it was pretty last minute and Aaron phuah wasn't planned to be there also..so if there was no aaron... gosh..it would have been a disaster! hehehehe... then.. CF finished..in time for me to go for the interview..and catch up with aaron too! wah... really unimaginable.. haha... then went for the interview... i would say it went well... not to brag le.. (heard good input from the president of student council.. hehe) and the schedule they have was like almost perfect... suddenly things getting better since the morning.. hehe ....
so then after interview hang out with CF friends till just before livewire... livewire was encouraging le... WEI SHEN is back.. the EMO-saurus is BACK! hehe and then some more got chris choong, and su ann.. new girl in livewire... suddenly.. hahahaha... then later after livewire... arthur called for futsal... hahahahaha... so impromptu lo.. hehe guess what.. i agreed and then went home change & etc..went there play for like 30 mins.. but then satisfying le... after all that has happened... hehe.. then met an xfresh DJ... and some new friends... and finally some constant futsal kakis... hehehe.... ate mcD after that.. (oh the big mac i had was my breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper in one!.. ate nothing all day)

So all in all i really cant understand how god is treating me... for now... i feel like a yo-yo... when he just release me (doing 'walk the dog') im being hyped up...then when he stops for a moment and i retract.. thats where all my emo moments are... moments where im kept and feeling alone and angry that im not being yo-yo-ed... then when he use me for a 'loop-a-loop' or 'round the world'... he rewards me lar... with all the unexpected things.. hehe... ever have that feeling? hehe
